Hey Guys & Gals!

This is PokeRocK who has just immigrated to Canada with his son and wife.
I used to be a corporate executive and had it all (houses, cars, etc) back home.
Now I am out of a job, living in a rented house, but I am free!

For those of you who are not familiar with the concept, they ask for "Canadian Experience" here for you to get a job. However, you can't get Canadian Experience without a job -unless you volunteer. So with this dilemma, I'm sitting in our rented house, playing poker while searching for jobs.

I'm also a poker enthusiast, student and coach.

I've decided to lean more on my poker endeavor while trying to land a permanent day job here in Canada. And publish my results and games online through Twitch.

I used to broadcast from time to time in Turkish, but now the my channel language is English. I do pretty good in terms of entertaining my audience and have 248 followers as we start this thread.

Our first aim is to make a $50 profit in tournaments so that I can buy a second hand computer screen/monitor and be able to play at more tables at the same time (Sounds cheap doesn't it, yes it does but we gotta start somewhere and I want to make it big from scratch).

This was the result of the first session:

Yesterday was a tough one.
Our cards didn't hold up.
Opponents chased overpriced draws, yet still scored on the river.
Caught too many pocket Aces in our opponents while we held AK or KK.
Felt a little rusty myself and didn't play my A game neither so I'm to blame.

Today, we are back with a vengeance!
