gonna make this simple.
1. stakes goal - currently beating $1 spin&gos for 89ChipEV. goal is to move up to $5s and beyond with at least 70-80ChipEV.
2. volume goals - currently playing ~100spins per day max, goal is to increase that to 250spins per day (gradually)
if both goals are achieved i'll be making $5000+ per month.

Daily goals
i will start by playing $1 spin&gos. everyday i will post a volume goal for the day, then at the end of the day will post a graph.

currently beating $2 spin&gos for 68ChipEV, but i think its too low, therefore will stay at the $1 level for now and study/improve.
once ChipEV of 100+ is maintained over ~4000 games at $1 level i will move back up to the $2 level.

binked a 25x today. felt like i was playing well, running hot and getting it in good the whole day. thought my ChipEV would have been like 200+. then looked at results at the end of the day and find out ChipEV is only at like 33 which is a negative ROI. so weird

been quiet for a few days, failing on the volume. ive just been thinking about how i can put in this volume, and finally accepted that theres no way i can play 250g/d by 2-3 tabling, that's 10-12hrs a day and i aint got what it takes to do that daily. the ONLY way for this to happen is if i jack up the number of tables.
im thinking 5-tabling. i just tried it right now and played 51 games in an hour. probably i can average 40-45 games per hour in the long run. i resized the tables to the minimum, and also found a layout that minimized eye movement (its easier to move eyeballs up and down vs side to side i find), and i found 5-tabling was actually very doable. still very hectic, but at least wasnt timing out every few hands. probably playing my C+ to B- game overall. but thats the price to pay for volume. i might even try 6-tabling eventually, but lets settle on 5-tabling for now.
my current layout:
another interesting thing i noticed when 5-tabling is that i find that im so busy that i dont have time to get react or get upset over results. my mind is way too busy figuring out 4 other spots to worry about how i just got coolered again on a table. when i was 2 tabling i put way too much attention on results after like 5-10 games, and that caused me to quit my sessions early. but now with 5-tabling i just go go go go gogo, sometimes i dont even remember whether i won or lost on a table. and if some suck out happened i forget about it 5 seconds later.
playing this many tables may not be so great if you're trying to practice spots and improve your game, but for me at least right now, being able to put in volume (while maintaining an acceptable win rate) is the biggest challenge. so lets assume 43 games per hour 5-tabling. i can play 250 games per day in just under 6 hours, far far far more doable than previously when 2-3 tabling which required 10-12hrs.
goal for tomorrow = 150 games which im confident will be achieved with the new 5-tabling strategy.

5-tabling is harder than i thought, could only go for about 20 minutes before my mind started spinning and losing focus. will be curious to see what ChipEV is while 5-tabling, will check the 5-tabling ChipEV after at least 4000ish games.
started sessions late today and only managed 100 games. tomorrow will try harder, goal is 150.

ugh.. another small volume day. im still 5-tabling but cant do it more than 20ish minutes at a time before taking a long break. instead of quitting the session outright what i should do is dropping back down to 2-3 tables to "catch my breath", then 5-table again for 20 minutes, and so on. gotta think of it like running long distance, you vary the pace, running fast then slow, fast then slow, you dont just stop outright.

alright, been away a few months, time to get back on track. year is halfway through and i dont want to let this goal fail and disappear into oblivion. im motivated to do this again.
currently playing $2 games instead of $1, although my win rate is low at $2 (about 67 chipEV), with the 65% RB on stars i'll still be earning more. will take a shot at $5 games once chipEV at $2 is at least 90+.
to improve my game i study about 1hr per day, i play with GTO wizard's practice hands, and watching various strategy videos. right now my goal is to play at least 5000 games for july, if at the end of july i have 5000 games and my chipEV is 90+ then i will take a shot at $5 games.

a big chunk of that $5k profit target comes from the 65% RB on stars. im aiming for around 80 chipEV at the $5 games, about 6% ROI
i've never gotten anything bigger than 25x and i've played about 10k spins so far.

If you played 25 days a month, that's 30K in buyins. Is a 17% ROI actually doable at spins?! How bad is the variance waiting for the big spin? I've never played them before but I'm intrigued.
