I still don't understand why you don't play more? 24k hands in a month? Get some volume IFS then that BE month would be a blip in the road

Great going today, you'll make even soon I bet. Wish I could afford good tracking software, I'd be able to keep track of everything you do, and find leaks and such. Tried the trial of PT3 but something went wrong with the installation of PostgreSQL or whatever it is.

Feels good to, for a change, actually start the month winning. Sucks to lose 20BI the first session and spend the rest of the month chasing losses. I feel that July is going to be a great month!

I feel as though as soon as I post I'll get flamed and such, "already 589674563 threads", "use search", "in b4 lock" type of thing. I looked/search around and tried several methods of installing PostgreSQL, but always stops at about the end and says "rolling back action".

No, of course they are not going to flame you... they are employes of the Pokertracker company and it would be ******ed from their point of view to flame a potential customer.

I've asked ******ed questions in that forum more times than I can count So, no worries bro

I don't get the tax reasons...? Do you get a better break from Ipoker and not FT or Stars being from Sweden?

Also do you think the Pound games are softer then American $'s?

Keep up the great month start

Yes. Ipoker is completely free from tax, while I have to pay a lot of tax on non-european sites.

Nah, not really.

I'll do my best

Sweden actually enforces taxes depending on the site you play on. I don't believe they do on iPoker.

Uhh? Ipoker is according to law, tax free. Non-european sites is, according to the law, not tax free.

So, what happens if we ship and he calls?

Well, aginst his calling range we're 37%

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 37.260% 37.06% 00.20% 39341950 214449.00 { 9c9h }
Hand 1: 62.740% 62.54% 00.20% 66392000 214449.00 { TT+, AQs+, AQo+ }

That means, when we're called:

63% of the time we lose 200$. EV = 0.63*200 = -126$
37% of the time we win 200$. EV = 0.37*200 = +74$

EV of when he calls is therefore = 74-126 = -52$

So we lose 52$ every time we're called. We win 27$ every time he folds. That means he has to fold like 65% of the time when we shove like this. If we assume he 3bets 20% in this spot, he's gonna fold a whopping 75% of the time (since AQo+,AQs+, TT-AA makes up 4.7% of all hands. So if he 3bets 20% and continues 4.7%, that means he's folding like 75%.), which means we're making money long term. But given how I'm running lately I'm obviously up aginst aces and lose.

Hope that clarifies.

ive been messing arround with the EV of 4bet shoving and 4bet small/calling it off with mid PP.

assuming he ships soemtimes 2 overs, your equity will improve quite a bit against this new range. (even though you have less fold equity on your 4bet). But i think 99 is strong enough to 4bet small and call it off, since he may sometimes ship smaller PPs that he 3bet with.

put in some random overs on his range

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 43.524% 43.32% 00.20% 72697638 337582.00 { 9h9s }

Yeah, 99 is definitly on the edge. With TT+ I always small 4bet/call and with 22-88 I always just 4bet ship. I think both are fine, but I was a little tilted at time, so I went for the open ship option

IFS: awesome thread man, keep it up. I admire your seemingly calm and collected approach to poker. You say you were tilted a few times but at least here on 2p2 you don't really steam or rant about anything and just coolly say tomorrow's a new day. Awesome attitude.

Lycka till. Javlar.

If you're going to play so few hands each month you may do better switching to play more HU to try and take advantage of any/what edge you have.... I mean, unless you hit a pretty big and prolonged heater (talking months long due to the number of hands you play) then i think you're going to struggle to reach your goal this year tbh.

I also think you should stay away from plo.

or completely ignore BRM

Will be hard to put in more hands per month tho. I'm 18 and it's summer... and in august school starts, but I'm quite lazy when it comes to school work so I should be able to play roughly the same amount (if not more) anyway
