today continued the exact trend of the last few days going up so im was up 450 for the day then going down so i was down idk the exact amount but im down over 14bis in ev today alone which is pretty lamezies however on the plus point ive grinded out over 1k points which im going to have to do consistantly if im going to hit 300k this year. obv the 100s and 200s hopefully will help towards this but still if i can get to point where i dont have to reley on that them thats cool too today also was the day that my ev and actal roi at the 60s crossed so im now offically running bad at my currant stakes sorry to be a drag im bored typing it so id imagine your all bored reading it will try and get pimp this thread up once i have somthing cool to brag about.;0

gl with your goals, they sound reasonable.

there's times where its hard to put in a ton of volume, after some consecutive 160+ games days I feel a little burnt out sometimes, hope you can keep up the pace. given your moving up targets the vpp shouldnt be an issue and ROI of 2% at 60s and 1.15% at 100s is def doable. dont know much about 200s as of yet.

ok so finally yesterday i broke the curse and binked an up day though i decided to go down to the 30s for a day just to get some confidence back as phycologically i find that losing a 30 isnt nearly as annoying as a 60s

in the last week i got in 809 sngs im going to have to get higher volume imo so this week ill for the 900 and go from there however seeing as how crap the last week was i think i did fairly well to play that much this thread is really helping me keep focus and was probabaly one of my better ideas.

hey guys the last few days have gone better i took a day to play the 30s to get confidence back and now the 60s are going far better for me my roi in the 30s is still about 3 times higher then in the 60s but at least ive gone some way to repair the damage

now im 160 dollars down for the month but fell way better about the rest of the month and ive already played 1870 games so fairly close to on my target of 3500 games in feb.

ok just a quick recap its late here and i just finished watching a japanise film called the suicide club very good if your into your asian horror films.Anyway thought id just up date another winning day for me today won a couple of bis at the 100s as well where i played about 4 games played one pro who beat me in a semi standard hand and the rest of the guys were fish and down lifetime so it seems i may have over estimated the 100s and what joe said was right im going to try and grind loads this week as volume the last few days has been really low but on the plus side ive had 4 up days in a row now and im felling confident again.

so far this month played 1968 games target was 3500 seems like i may miss that by a bit but tbh depends on how hard i grind the next few days id take anything over 3k games this month atm still over a week in the month left and now im at least in the black for feb.

hey guys woaw what a day its been i was doing an insanity workout ended up quiting in 10 mins after spraining my ankle and decided to grind with my feet up instead

its amasing how fast things can turn around a few days ago i was all doom and gloom from losing 6 days in a row and felling pretty dreads about it now im up 5 days in a row and counting and the skys the limit

hey guys todays been another ballin effort im up 1142 so far today after 71 games will endevour to play another 50 or so before bed heres a very interesting hand im not going to post the results id like to see what some other people think first.



villain was 3betting 30% so decided i could limp this hand as hate to get blown of it on this board it think his value range is squarly an 8x hand higher cards would raise pre turn give me a gutter and now when he bets again i think if he has an 8 hes not going to bet three streets and i have 20% equity and im only bad vs a j x which is somewhat unlikly on river i think that he reps enough bluffs and that his value range is pretty small here.

id like to make clear that im not in the habbit of makeing these calls as standard but a few such situations have come up recently that i thought merited closer inspection as to what a standard line here was.

if i dont lose from now untill i go to bed it will be my biggest day in the hypers and that will be my 2 biggest days in the last 3 which is pretty sick stuff finally running well agian im actally over ev for the month now though i dont know how long that will last a few more days like this an i may look at hitting the 100s harder sooner then i expected my ev hrly at them so far is 54 per hr.

wow what a month it has been its been full of trials and tribulations for me but i can happierly say that ive came thought it a stronger hu sng player then i went into it.


my results for the month were

played 2629 games this is interesting i did aim for more 3500 if i remember but due to my downswing and a conversation i had with cog ive been puting in alot of my volume 1 tabling so 3500 1 tabling so much as well as taking some shots at the 100s ment that 3500 was unrealistic.

profit for the month was 4298.19$ considering i was down for so much of the month and at one point i think i said to someone id maybe take b/e month if it was offered to me this is a really good result and is right on coarse for getting me to the 75k target considering bonuses and moving up ect. a side not that has me worried is that my ev for the month was far lower at 2170$ i cant lie im a bit worried of what the implications of this are had a ran under ev by the same amount id have b/e for hte month having said that for the most part i think i played ok and didnt make too many huge errors.

i played 110hrs and none of this was without eating or drunk which is a plus so from now on as im not sure how much 1 tabling ill do in march i think ill make targets for number of hrs played rather then games for march at least. and see how that goes though id like to get in at least 3k games next month as at this rate i need to start raking more if im going to be in with a chance to get 300k vpips this year.

a nice bonus today for me was that it was my biggest day in super turbos i made 1183 in 110 games

i also played 101 100s and made over 8 bis so happy to keep shot taking when the 100s lobbies are quite ect. my aim is to get in 250 100s in march however this will be the least important of my goals and depend on my roll ect.

I only just moved up to the 60s myself- never took any coaching in poker myself- but I'm thinking about it now. I'm not really playing full time atm or anytime soon though and I'm still at uni...

Would you be happy for me to add you on Skype and talk about strat? Atm I'm like a one man team and don't really know anyone in poker (let alone in hypers). Would you recommend cog as a coach (though not a fan of the limping tbh but I'm open to new ideas)?

as for cog i highly recommend him as a coach for anyone at the 60s and lower hes incredibly organised and prepared alot of stuff on hypers which is his own material and only his students have access to. as well as this hes a really nice guy and i really looked forward to the sessions we had with him hes very good at putting his thoughts across very clearly which is the most important attribute in a poker coach i fell.

ohh and done worry about running good vs me i since playing hyper i run good vs almost everyone

hey guys sorry i havent been keeping this going as much as i said i would march has been fairly busy with for me.

anyway thought id do an update as i hadnt for a while as to how im getting on and as today marks two mini milestones for me.

1) today i finally got my roll up to 10k its hte first time its been this high since black friday. ill prolly take 2k out and keep 8k online but if things keep going well then i will certainly have over 10k there

2) today i hit over 5k for march which was my target for the month.

ive also smashed the target for games played at the 100s i aimed for 250 but since the regs arent giving me any grief and the fact that the games are so soft im going to play as many as i can im on 400 so far for the month with an roi of 9% and ev roi of 6% sick life imo.

as for other targets i was going for 140 hrs of poker but atm have only got in 70hrs though as of now i only have one evening which i dont have free so im going to grind hard for the rest of month

revised targets 7k this month and 100 hrs of poker

hey guys just a quick update today as in the 26th was biggest day of the year for me i shipped 1600$ cash and 700 in ev played pretty well all day and it could have been more also reached my re target of 7k for the month so felling pretty pumped about that also got my hrly for this month up to 90$ per hr which is the highest its ever been and if i make any more this could over take jan as my biggest month in poker ever its been alot of fun so far and as im about 1/4 of the way though the year have made about 10k in ev and 15k cash know ive been running good but i also fell that my hard work is being rewarded. and its great felling to know that im on coarse to hit my target.

i wont anymore as ill save all the stats for the end of month review.

hey guys a quick update for you sorry i havent been more on top of it i was going to post a few weeks back then the hackers thing happened.

poker been going excellently for me this month is my biggest month lifetime(again) im up 9775 in husngs this month ev of 11200 and average stake of 115 dollars ive pretty much all but stoped playing the 60s with a focus now mainly on playing alot of 100s and some 200s to top it up and make hitting my vpips target per day

i recently started to multitable more 4 tabling more consistantly and bearing this in mind ive raised my vpps target pre day to 2000 and im considering puting up my target for 400k vpps this year while im only on 97500 and with 5/12 months to go may seem daunting but the fact is that now ive increased my number of games per day well over 150 on a full day and my ave bi is going up 10-15% ever month it seems like its the best way to keep me motivated id rather go for taht and fail then go for 300k and cruise it.

at my roll stands at 16k and ive got enough money in the bank to keep me going for a while before i will need to withdraw im also saving up for my first
4k bonus which i can buy at 250k fpps atm i have 195k and will clear that with 3weeks though ive got some festivals and stuff to go to so it couldbe a bit longer.

so far in my chalange ive made 31,450 dollars plus a negligable amount playing cash say 500.
