I don't think I'm qualified to be coaching people as I'm not 100% happy with my own game yet (plus there's something about charging $$$ to uNL-ers that I'm against since all they need to really beat uNL is a video training site subscription and a brain), but I'm really glad the video received such good feedback despite that. Maybe I can do something else in the future regarding strat videos or whatever.


Grinding Update:
Played probably my B- game for half of today overall I think.
I wasn't thinking straight and tried some very very bad plays.
First half of the day was just me sunrunning (playing A game is easy when you're running hot )

Some of this was at 1kNL. Reasoning for playing 1kNL? I was getting pissed off that none of the MSNL regs were sitting in when I was trying to start a table...... I think they were playing too many tables or something...

Think you read it wrong, I had the T8s

Flop bet is value, he was floating wide. Turn bet is value from Ax, 7x, hands like 45,56 at the same time, I can't really c/c and snap c/c many rivers so it plays better to merge.

River is timing tells, "gut" feeling, previous reads (villain wasn't very good at valuebetting, saw him check back a similar hand to what he's repping in a similar spot before).








Random thoughts:

6.20am. Just sorta woke up, can't sleep. Feeling hungry.
I slept at like.. 4am or something like that..

Grinding Updates:

I learnt a valuable lesson today.
.... Always get enough sleep before grinding.

I feel bad to admit it but I had a **** **** day today and I'm really disappointed with myself...

Started when I tried HU4Rollzing all the MSNL regulars (there weren't enough tables going so I tried to multitable a very aggro and imo, very good regular).
With my mind being without rest, I just couldn't do anything except get owned.
I proceeded to go on more tilt since I wasn't making any hand. And it tilted me more when some of the regs just sat out. Rawr. D:
Even worse, when the table went 6max, I was playing with a 30%+ 3bet vs this one particular reg. Vengeance tilt is an evil thing. Don't do it.
Eurgh. Remind me not to do that again please.

On the plus side.. I rostucko'd the day after sleeping over that -$4k downer.
I still feel like **** though.

This is to publicly make sure I never do one of these beasttilt-sleepless sessions again.

GL OP, just make sure you don't underestimate the value of a good night's sleep/day off of poker. If you're really feeling that awful, there's no reason to be playing in the wrong mindset to begin with, if you go into a session feeling just off a bit, it'll be in the back of your mind and might end up just as an excuse for playing bad at times. Seems you've got a good bit of everything else figured out though!
