I'm from Argentina. Been playing poker online for a year already. I mean, I did play some years ago but had no clue about the game. Last year, exactly on july, I intended to start a new journey and have good results in poker.

I have played so far around 450K hands. Been playing in NL2, NL5 and now NL5. Haven't been able to make it to a higher limit and for the moment I'm just a break even player.

Sometimes I feel I completely suck for this but well... I understand I've been learning through this whole year. I mean, when I started I didn't even know what a 3bet was, the importance of position and all that basic stuff.

I haven't gone broke which think it's good. But all my winnings have come from rakeback.

I hope I'll be able to learn and help others as well.

Will be following your thread as I more or less have the same goal but I am in no rush! Still stuck in NL10 and will be extremely happy if I manage to be successful and constant in ti and maybe move up one level this year

LOL! Is that supposed to be good or bad? It's a 450K graph with ups of around +$150 and downs of around -$230!

Hi, man! thx for writing! I'm also stuck, as you can see, and in no rush either. I would love to make it to 25NL by the end of the year but I think unless I study hard, that won't be achievable.

I've just never seen someone BE over that many hands before.

How many hands you averaging a week? How many tables you play? Maybe cut back the number of tables and concentrate on trying to get better.

Posting hands where you are stuck or have lost big pot that are not coolers will help you get better. Works for me anyway.

Zombiefan, I play at present around 50k per month. Last month was record of 70k for me.

However, sometimes I mass table a lot when I'm on tilt. I control my mental game much better than before but still have leaks there. Not so often but they happen.

I usually play at 6 or 8 tables, depending on how hot I'm running.

Yesterday I had a good session. Here's the hand where most money I lost:

GL OP. In the QT hand, you can just bet 1.4 on turn and 3.2 on river, risking less but with same amount of fold equity I thinks.

I didn't follow this journey. Now I'm back and I will update because I find this is the forum which more users have and therefore assume it might be one of the best.

Still playing at 10NL, ZOOM for the moment. I played some sessions at 16NL but had to go back down.

I decided to start studying hard since yestarday. At the moment I'm readint "The mental game of poker" by Jared Tendler and will be reading Professional NL Holdem by Miller.

After some days not being able to win, today I had a good session. Even though I ran above EV, I took some great decisions. Was lucky just once, in one push preflop where I had JJ and BTN KK and flopped J55.
