I want to come back. I want to come back.

A bit of a strange PG&C guys but please bare with me, I really need your help.

I've sat here many times over the last few months, trying to put my point across to you all in a thread. But time after time I've just given up as I've really struggled to put my point across. The desire is now burning to hard, so here goes. I'll keep it brief because if I don't this will be just another thread that takes me an hour to write and then not posted due to frustration.

I haven't played one single hand for 18 months, basically due to turning into one of the worst fishes you've seen play.

I promised myself I wouldn't play again for at least one year. I would then come back review the situation and see whether I should play again or not.

One year passed and I wanted to get back playing studying and basically becoming a player instead of a douche bag.

But that was six months ago. I have had a block for the last six months. 18 months out of poker and I don't know what the hell to do with myself.

I don't know where to start. I have forgotten everything. But I have a desire to start from the ground up.

I really want to get this thread into a conversation with you all. And finally getting me onto a brand new path of study and actually playing again.

As I said this might be a strange PG&C, It has taken me six months to pluck up the courage and write and actually post this thread. So thanks In advance to all those who actually read this/reply/rail/offer advice or assistance in my poker block.

what is your goal? To start playing poker again? Thats easy. Go to Pokerstars, deposit $50, open up a 2nl 6 max cash game and start playing. Read lots of articles on 2+2, watch poker videos, move up through the limits.

Good luck!

Study a lot before actually playing since it's been so long for you. Read articles, get a chart to know which hands to raise and call with preflop and play tight, ABC poker in the lower limits.

It might feel a bit strange after being away for so long but you just have to focus and relearn it.

Good luck!

I completely understand where your coming from but I just have a full on block which is stopping me from getting started.
