Woke up at 830am, picked up Charmaine to hang out and have breakfast. Dropped her off at 11am, so I could start work. Worked until 6pm. Picked up Charmaine at 6:15pm, then I worked again while Charmaine kept me company until 9pm. Then I went to my grandmothers house to shower and brush my teeth. Made 158$ so happy with the day. Now I just got two 4for4 meals at Wendy’s for Charmaine and I. Now I’m Smoking a fat bowl before I dive into this Wendy’s. Then it’s off to bed, and repeat tomorrow. Night Night

Beautiful day like always. Days are going smoother and smoother. Charmaine is here with me and we are going to lucky chances to use my comps I have. I have like $48 or something in food vouchers, so just bought some spaghetti that we can share. It’s pretty big and fulfilling. Well that’s pretty much it lol boring life I know haha, but hey it’s all about the grind!!

Doing doordash tired as **** haha. Thinking tho I have like 10-12 more days of this and I would like to read a poker book before I go back haha. Recommendations please??? Anything really.. I just don’t want to play online and deposit money rather stay away from that. How’s crush live poker?? Any good or waste of money? Maybe that mental game book never read that haha seems like that’s a fave. Well yeah lmk guys what should I do to keep this poker brain fresh for the next 10-12 days! Im excited to be half way there!!

Don't get a book, get the upswing lab. or just read free articles/old 2+2 threads or any other good free stuff online. books are a waste of time imo

Have you read many poker books? I don't think they're a waste of time. Some are garbage certainly. Read Super System, Theory of Poker, Harrington on cash games vol 1 and 2, mental game of poker 1 and 2.

Top 4 books for me have been.
1. Applications of no limit holdem. a 2+2book by janda
2. No-Limit Hold 'em For Advanced Players. a 2+2book by janda
2. Grinders manual by peter clarke
3. The mental game of poker.

RIO and Upswing recommended as well. Dont know about live content tho

So I did it yay! Well half way haha. Good day again made 148 beautiful to hit 140+ days 4 days in a row you can see I put 1100 now saved that’s cause I put 200 today I had a little more to put in since the over 100$ days. So feels great to be 900 away to play again.

Sitting in my car smoking a bowl typing in the thread. Charmaine is out with her coworkers and I’m here getting some peace haha. Might just catch up on some vlogs on YouTube and call it a night and get ready for more Doordash tomorrow. Night night.

never read a poker book, and don't plan on it. there are much better ways to spend time studying

There are all sorts of people. Some prefer reading, some videos, some coaching etc. What comes to your taste can easily be a "waste of time" to someone else, so don't judge books or readers.


To the topic: Mental game of Poker and Treat your poker like a business are pretty solid.

I used blackrains free articles and grinders manual, although tgm you can probably get the info for free somewhere else, its mostly good for understanding preflop with mdf and incentives.

Edit: live the spr is smaller usually (?) and more chance of mw so the preflop is slightly different wrt sc especially. You probably shouldnt iso a7o vs multple limps in sb like blackrain recommends sometimes

Woke up at 6am with some back pain used my back massager I got from amazon GTO and went back to sleep. Woke up again at 830 to have some breakfast with Charmaine. Currently working Doordash on my 4th order since 11am plan on working again till 9pm and add another Hundo to the fund.

Really trying to immerse myself in all poker right now. Feel like a boxer training for a fight haha. When I come back I’m coming back strong man it’s about to be dope haha. Reading a bunch of hand histories got to get the brain ready. Have a lot of down time in between orders since some restaurants are the slowest ever. Perfect time to read an such. Yeah so that’s it got to get back to delivering these damm ppl their food. Hungry now sheesh might get in n out alright guys peace

If you mean cash games well my first year playing cash played 700 hrs made 11k. Won two tournaments. 1 daily at luckys for like 2.5k and then obv the 1 tournament that saved my life haha for 10k

The back pain has been coming up recently due to the fact I have been lazy to set up the air mattress haha. But would I say it’s taking a toll? Uhm I don’t think I so I’m pretty happy haha. I wake up every morning stretch, meditate and journal my thoughts which I think has helped me throughout this journey forsure. It does get really cold at night sometimes haha. I live in a Hyundai it’s smallish but I’m not that tall so it works for me haha.
