Only open QJo in the CO. I have very structured ranges from each position. 98o is an open on the BTN but not gonna be to much of a problem folding it as well. I pick my spots wisely and make sure I’m in +ev decisons. Thanks for lurking thanks for your comment.

How’s it going Sam. No actually no live poker from the last update. Took some time off. It was my birthday May 13th so didn’t play yesterday. From the last update I have been working my side job Doordash for Consistent Money.

Just have been enjoying time with family and Charmaine. My friend Eric who spent the last 4years at GCU college in Arizona is back, so have been spending a lot of time catching up with him.

As for the grind. I’m going back tonight to put in what I hope to be a great session.

To address my living situation and current expenses, still live in my car to keep cost very low. I have been doing Doordash making 100-200$ a day delivering food around the area. To me it seems like a very flexible side job which I think I need to have until I get to 3/5.

So doing doordash daily now so that 700-1400$ a week -.20% for taxes at the end of the year.

Monthly Expenses
Insurance: $123
Phone bill: 120$
Gas: 20$ a Day

And that’s it really gas and food. So yeah just wanted to let everyone know where I am at have a lot to work to do but I feel with this work ethic and hard work I can get it done and move up the stakes and accomplish my dream.

So for some hand histories. Pretty standard session I would say for the most part. Here are 3 of the biggest hands of the night.

Hand #1

MP opens for 12$, 1call12$, Hero is on the BTn with AQ and makes the call. SB calls the 12$ as well. 4ways to a flop.

Flop:A58 MP continues for 24$, only Hero Calls 24$

Turn:K MP bets 40$, Hero makes the Call

River: 5 MP bets 60$ Hero snap calls thinking we chop now. MP shows a K and says NH while he mucks.

Hand#2

Table got short handed so we are down to 4players everyone agrees they want to keep playing. I open raised 9/12 hands then this hand comes.

Hero is on BTN with AKo raise to 12$ BB tilted OG who just lost a big pot 2hands ago jams for 110$ I make the call. Villain has 99 and Hero hits a K on the flop.

Hand#3

1 limper and Hero has JT in CO raises to 16$, SB and BB make the call. Limper folds.

Flop: 97s3 checks to Hero who bets 35$ and wins the pot. I would say a lot of the time this is how I make the most money l. Huge preflop opens in position against passive players. Big Cbets on certain board textures. If they call my Cbet it’s great to check turn and realize equity. Just seems like people fold way to often to cbets.

Hand#4

1limp and MP makes it 16$, 1 call of 16$, Hero looks at AKo in CO and raises to 65$ Everyone folds.

Hand#5

MP opens for 9$, Hero has 54 in CO and makes the Call. SB and BB calls. 4 ways to a flop.

Flop: A25 checks to hero who bets 25$ only the BB calls.

Turn is GIN: 5 checks to Hero who bets 60$ he calls.

River 8 hero bets 150$ he calls. I’m sure he had AJor AQ

But yeah that’s the session. I’m about to go do some doordash and make more money then it’s off to the casino tonight.

Hand 1 you can and maybe should 3bet.

Hand #5 is a clear and obvious fold or rarely 3bet leaning strongly towrds a fold. No reason for you to be calling with 54s preflop against just the initial raiser.

Button flat Vs MP should contain ATs-AQs

CO flat vs MP should contain 76s,87s,98s. So I agree I should fold but the player was a weak player and I have position on the hand. 54s can play well postflop and can win big pots by the river.

Usually vs MP I would 3bet in position with hands like T8s,97s, A5s-A4s but that’s mainly online . 54s would be a 3bet in the SB vs a BTN open for example. But I’m sure 54s plays better as a flat in position. But as I said earlier I usually would only flat 76s min in the CO vs MP but the player was weak and I didn’t feel anyone was going to squeeze.

So today I did Doordash and made 73$. Currently gonna take a nap in the car with Charmaine until 9pm then I’ll head to Luckys. Talk soon

Your calls don't have to include every combo of suited connector and with no other callers, 54s is a fold, so is every other suited connector in that spot. If you want to occasionally 3bet I can get behind that but calling seems like bleeding chips.

AQs really should be a 3bet most of the time in that spot imo with 2 callers in between you and raiser.

So basically my range looks like this vs MP IP the hands I 3bet are: AA-QQ, AJo, KQo,AKs, A5s-A4s, T8s, 97s

Button flat vs MP looking like this: JJ-33, AKo-AQo, AQs-ATs, KQs-KTs, QJs-QTs, JTs-J9s, T9s, 98s, 87s, 76s, 56s, 54s.

As for tonight’s session calling it at 234am game broke and there is a list won 92$ on the session. Some hands I’ll report tomorrow. Your 3bet range vs mp is a massive leak, just stick to jj+ ak and you will save yourself a ton of money
