I have played poker since I was three years old (seriously, I learned how to count with a deck of cards), I didnt start playing seriously until 2008 while In Iraq, we had a 10$ tournament every night that we weren't out on mission, I didn't do too well, so when I got back, I read a few books, checked out some online videos, and started to terrorize my home games.
From there, it was on to the local casinos. I have had limited income since I left the Army, so low stakes limit (1-2, 2-2, and sometimes 2-4) was my choice game for about a year, breaking even.
Then I decided to save up for the WSOP Circuit stop at Palm Beach Kennel Club (Florida). It took months of saving $10 here, 20 there but I saved up the $345 needed to enter event number 2 (No Limit Hold'em).

That's me in
17th place, top 4% in my first ever major event
(someone made a mistake on my player page, if you click it it says I also finished in 17th in Event #1, which I did not play). With a serious bankroll started, it's game on when the WPT comes to the Hard Rock next month, I already have my ticket to Event 29 ($500k guarantee) Entry number on my ticket is "1".
