I spend a lot of time study the book "Poker's 1%: The One Big Secret That Keeps Elite Players On Top". I like the concept very much and will try to use it when I play. Playing poker is math and it tells you what to call and what to fold. That is why I removed hand reading from my goals and will try to focus on betsize and betting-/ callingranges.

Dont you think villain is giving you decent enough price while he can have a lot of busted 6x/heart FDs? I'd call with 98+

Hey, my back feels much better. I almost painless. In poker I played well - made not many mistakes. I invested a lot of time in the quoteoriented approach. I like the idea very much and try them out in the next few weeks. In chess I started learning strategy again and will check my learning progress by analyzing my own old games. I also repeat my endgame and opening knowledge. I will also be on holiday the next 7 days. I will make a road trip with my wife.

Vacation and more
The vacation was really thrilling. We was in italy and austria. The nature was really beautiful (I like austria - but not the high mountains --> because Im scared of heights). Unfortunately I got a sinusitis which made me feel bad. I stayed at home for 1 week and couldnt use the computer. Just drink a lot and relax - and of course going to the toilet very often after so much tea ;-).

I also finish games of thrones. I really liked book 9 + 10 of the book series (book 7 + 8 was really boring). All in all I would give 7/10 points for the books. The tv series is much better. My wife likes it very much. Now Im thrilled to play poker again. Here we go.

I was more focus on GTO and watched the Matthew Janda Firefox Videos on cardrunners. I also expermimented with ranges and bought flopzilla. Next week I will focus more on playing.

In the middle of last week my sinusitis was over and I had time for poker. I used the time for learning --> GTO. I hardly play any poker hand. This week I will play more but also some time for learning. In chess I didnt had time for learning or playing.

Last week I also change my nutrition. I will eat the same amout of food but I will exchange the high calories by the low calories.

I played fantastic but started playing worse when I make no brake and played too long sessions. That is not good. I try to make 1 big session - than 1 longer break and after that I will play my last session. I was great in plan the hand and take up time in the first part of the day but get worse in the 2nd part. I learned from my mistake and will try to improve. In GTO I make progress and that feels great. The more hand evaluation I make the better I become.

I played much more than the week before. Im also 100 % fit again. Sometimes I played too fast and didnt plan the hand which I should improve in the future. I was great in villain selection. I also should make more breaks because I lost concentration when I play longer sessions.

Planning the hand + take up time was much better. Villain selecktion is great like most of the time and I dont get on tilt so easy. Here we go.

In the next days I will focus on plan the hand and take up time. I will always plan the hand when I play. When I have 2 or less villain I will count 2 seconds preflop and take a deep breath after every decision postflop before I click the button. That worked fine yesterday and I hope to make it constant and and automatic thought process.

Im satisfied with my week. I took up enaugh time and planned the hand. My game improves every day. I invested a lot of time in learning and are sure that I will get the profit in the future. In chess I repeat 1 chess opening every day and learn 1 hour strategy + endgame at the weekend.

I removed 2 goals because I think that I managed them and think that the process will be automatic in the future. So I will just focus on the plan the hand and take up time. I was great in take up time but didnt always planned the hand. Somethink that I have to improve.

I played much more last week and was satisfied with take up time and plan the hand. I also discovered that I did not write down enaugh notes since I changed from HEM1 to PT4. I will try to fix that leak and are sure that this will give me more profit. I also lost about 2 kilogram and hope just have to lose 3 more to reach my final dream weight.

I played fine and reached all my goals. One thing that I discoverd is that I should check all villains where I didnt make a lot of profit or even lost which I played for > 50 hands. I make progress and are sure that I will have a great november. Here we go.

I had an interesting week. I discovered 2 leaks which wasnt so obvious to me. First I didnt write down notes and second I didnt analysed villains after and during the session. Something that I have to avoid.

In the next days the worldchampionship of chess take place between Anand and Carlson. In chess I had really fun when I played longer games. I played 1 year 5 minutes games. All in all I couldnt learn much in that time. So I started to play a longer game which was a 15 minutes match. I also started using my old thought process (a reduced one where I just ask 4 questions like are there any unbalances,...). I found out that even a 15 minute game is too short to make enaugh thougths and progress in chess. So I will play at least 30 minute games.

In hte last days I made a lot of learning stuff. I try to make good ranges for 3bet pot and prepare myself to play regs - starting w nl100. This might be a challenge as well. I will try to beat each limit and win about 20bb and climb than to the next limit. I will make a graph every week so that everyone is happy. I also refreshed my kings gambit knowledge in checss opening.

In my last days I played fine and made good profit. I was great in take up time and plan the hands. I also made enaugh notes for exploiting villains. Today I finished my intensive study about 3bet pots and will make some exercises the next days. In one week I will attack the regs. At the weekend the world championship of poker started.

I played up and down yesterday. I discovered that I make to little breaks and I started playing worse when I play too long or get hungry. I try to make more breaks in the future and at least one walk. In chess wm its really thrilling. Magnus was ahead after two games - but one day later vishy fighted back. Thats what I want.

In the last days I played regs for about 1 - 3 hours. I played about 650 hands and Im slightly behind (-50 $). Its fun to play regs but the problem was that 15 of 29 villains sit out instantly, and 9 more played less than 20 hands. 2 of the 5 other villains run away after 70 hands and just 3 wanted to battle me for a longer time. That is not good. So I want to challenge everybody to play me on nl100 for 1 hour. Please write my a message or post your message in the blog. I hope there is anyone who is not scared ;-)
