Monday grind
Strange session. I dunno, strange day overall. Had an appointment at the orthopdedist in the morning and had only slept three hours at night and already slept too little the two nights before. In the afternoon I had to catch up on sleep. Woke up three hours later, completely disorientated, not knowing if it's actually day or nighttime. Could have just missed out on grinding today, because of not feeling optimal, but I did it anyway, which I would see as healthy work ethic right now. After I had lost a couple of pots towards the end of the session, I already wanted to quit. So that I would at least finish the day with a win. But I kept playing, which I'm happy with, although I kept losing. It's a mindset thing and I can clearly see it in myself. This urge to quit the session while you're still up. So I'm happy, that I could resist that urge. As a reward for such an impressive mindset I instantly received 3 $ + 5 $ from the universe out of two chests after the session. So the day ended pretty much break even.

Villain is a decent reg. Haven't seen him out of line so far. But I was really shocked about his flop call here oop. You have a lot of equity + FEQ against my range there. On the turn if you don't hit one of your outs, you're just gonna check fold? Pretty bad imo. Could have checked river, but I just would have never put him on the nuts there. So I guess it's the genius max EV line he took and I'm just mad

I'll post a full graph of my grind so far when I step up to PLO25. Could be any day now. Hopefully.

How many BI's are you waiting for to move up?

Ever think of moving to other sites to get better rakeback?
And as I said it before ITT, I kind of like it to not get a lot of rakeback. In a way it means I have to work even more and even harder to achieve my goals, which I have no problem with. I'm looking forward to challenge myself, because in the last years I did the absolute opposite. It's not just about making money for me. It's about re-defining myself. The way I approach adversity and rough times and how to stay focused. So yeah, I like how it is right now.

Aside from poker, I sold my car today, which I am really happy about. Was the last big thing on my mind, because I obviously planned with the money I was gonna get for it for my adventure. And now it's a wrap. Perfect.

hello everyone
Officially back from the dead. When you're over 30 and partied all weekend long, as you did in your early 20's, you probably know what I mean. Having a hangover like this these days is definetly the reason I wanna shoot myself in the head right now. But hey, after I put in a solid grind volume in the last weeks, stepped up succesfully to PLO25 and foremost been happy with my game/mindset I felt like it was time for a little treat. To define it as a treat right now seems a bit odd to me.
So friday night I called a friend of mine and told him how I felt and asked if he's down to get fcked up, because that's exactly what I wanted. I live pretty healthy overall nowadays I would say diet and excercise-wise, don't smoke and don't drink mostly. But that wasn't always the case and it seems like these synapse-connections are for the most time dormant in me, but sometimes they ***** light up and basically change gears completely. So, about one hour later we're at his crib with a nice supply of coke, weed, the fridge full of beer and cigs. Just sitting there, getting higher as the gunshots fire and having these random, extensive coke-induced discussions over basically god and the universe was a perfect 'intro' to this weekend. To make a long story short, we stayed like this until saturday afternoon, when the comedown kicked in really hard. Smoked a big dooby and at least tried to sleep a little bit. When I was in this semi-sleep-state it was already evening and my phone woke me up. Another friend calling me, asking if I like to come to his crib and going out later to a club. I knew, that I probably shouldn't do it and for a split second considered to friendly decline his offer. But he knows, that I'll fly to Asia in two weeks and I thought that this would be a good opurtunity to 'say goodbye for this one year'. Also I still sat on some coke and thought this would be a good chance for me to distract myself from the comedown. Got up, snorted a line, cracked open a beer and lit a cigarette. Breakfast of the champions, right? So I'm coming to my friends crib where he was with one other guy I also knew, but wasn't a friend of mine. They had vodka and we're getting drunk really good. Later, a girl called this other guy and asked what he's up to and she decided to join us. So she came over, and we just drank until we got ready for the club. I didn't know this girl, but she seemed cool and definetly immeditately interested in me. When they give you this look all the time and act like they're super interested in everything you say. "Oh, really?", "Oh, that's really cool"...you know what I mean. Ok, fast forward we're at the club and she just won't leave me alone. Not desperate or thirsty, but we just had a good vibe going. Started making out sometime while dancing later. Then my friend comes to me and tells me that it's time to leave and we're going to the car. This other dude, who was with us suddenly is like completely wasted. I was wondering what was going on with him, because like thirty minutes before he was dancing with us having a good time (before we make out). So, we drive home, I get out of the car with her at her place and some minutes later we found ourselves playing a good old game of chess. Nothing special, but today as I left her place (got challenged to another chess game in the morning, which I politely consented) I called my friend and we talked a bit. I asked him what was up with the other guy and if he's alright and he then went on to tell me, that he and this girl were dating for several weeks, almost two months now, and that he fell in love with her, but she wasn't 'sure'. And I was just like "LOL". This ****** slut just used me to brutally humiliate this other guy. Haha, my god, it's like it's their instinct to do stuff like this when they realize that they could potentially do it to you. These demons Well, moral of the story: never let ANY girl act up with you. If they do it once, they will do it again. They will find ways to humiliate you. The guy will probably act like nothing happened when she messages him, which is metaphorically speaking like he's bleeding heavily in the ocean with a great white nearby. She can't do nothing against that urge to bite him into pieces.
Women are strange entities. It's really like Jordan Peterson said it. They represent nature, in a way, that they select which genes will be passed on to future generations. 'Mother nature', our language is pretty honest in most cases, as we identify nature without thinking about it as female. They don't even have bad intentions or anything doing this stuff to us. I guess it's some kind of sub-conscious process kicking in, that they just can't resist.
So, I still feel pretty ****ty right now, but managed to get my first session in since friday:
I'll try to eat something now and then see if I feel like playing some more or start fresh tomorrow.
In two weeks I'm already in BKK! Whoop Whoop
Have found a hotel, where I stay the first two nights and then check-out four to five appartments in the Sathorn disctrict, which is a great location in BKK.
Yeah I got like 350 or so hands with you.
Hope you can move up asap. glgl

So far, so good. The pool on 25z feels way more juicy than 10z.

hey man, nice degen story, hopefully more incoming I can sooo relate to "coming back from the dead" comment, I'm in my late 20s and whenever I have a weekend like that, it takes me up to 2 days to recover.
I play plo25z and plo50z from time to time (not my main game), so we'll probably meet at the tables, whenever I see someone playing 40/30/15 I'll know it's you

Yeah but he still would have top two with a trillion draws out there. In a situation like this with spr of 0,5, folding top two doesn't seem so reasonable. But maybe yeah, his last 10 bucks, scared as *** and he thought let's make a genius fold against top set.
And yeah, the dude from the story was devastated for sure. His ability to deal with women in the future will be greatly limited. If I knew, that they had something going on, I wouldn't have done it tbh. But my friend, who knew about this the whole time, is the least empathetic person I know, so he just didn't tell me anything until the morning after lol.

Was at the orthopedist again today, because now I have problems with my right elbow. I had an inflamed tendon on my elbow in april, which was cured after I went to the orthopedist back then. Well yeah, that's what I thought until the pain came back last week and it intensified every day. So the doc injected me some stuff right in the elbow for the third time today and I hope so much that it will get cured. This is fcked up man, right before I will leave to Thailand this **** comes back and apparantly can't get cured with the same injections I got back in april (got just one and it was 'healed' then). I have no idea why and where it comes from now. I don't do any overstressing motions. I don't even fap that much. If it won't go away I'm gonna have to find one of these chi-force healer dudes in Bangkok.
Anyways, received a package from amazon today with some stuff I need for the journey. One important item is a bag with a lot of condoms in it.

-------------------------------
Feels like I'm crushing, even when I'm losing for 99% of the session. Really, there is not a single situation or a single player, that puts me in tough situations where I'm completely lost. I don't mean that in a cocky or arrogant way, even if my writing sometimes might suggest that it is so. It's just reality. I see people (even most regulars) playing ether strange, straight-forward or a mixture of both.
Being down seven stacks is not much for one session, but when you're taking shots at a new limit, it feels more than it is. A couple days ago this would have been almost 18 stacks for me, so this is still a lil bit present. But I was focused all the time. Except one time I stacked off pre. I'll show the hand later.
When you feel comfortable bluffing whatever amount on the turn or river, because you know it is the right play, no matter what the outcome is, you know you have 'arrived' at the new limit. The joeingram1 podcast with Jason Koon from a couple months ago really changed a lot for me in that regard. Not having these bull**** expectations, but just playing like an animal like Jason said it. Everything else will follow. Check it out if you haven't seen it so far. Big recommendation.
Man, after the session I sat in the garden smoking a lil joint, looking at the sunrise and realizing what will happen soon. I'm leaving this life, that made me so unhappy in the last few years. Finally I take the courage to break out of it. It feels strange, but strange in a really positive way. Not knowing what will happen in the next year, just uncertainty. It feels good to me. I don't know but for me personally I really feel sorry for most people I see in society here. I see it so clearly, that they are not truly happy, just superficially, but they can't break out of their current situations anymore. All the ****** fake drama, that takes place in their lifes. As kind of a sub-conscious precaution I've always kept a backdoor and now finally I go through it. Again, it feels kind of surreal that it's about to happen, but surreal in a way, that puts a sincere smile on my face.
Ok, lets look at some hands from the latest session:
1.)
This hand took place shortly before the hand I was talking about above. It just felt unfair to lose it, so I got a little bit mad. What was it again? Yeah, bull**** expectations. Play like an animal and live with the results no matter what.

MP plays 46/34/26 in 95 hands. BTN 25/13/7 reg-type 385 hands. Here's what the lab said giving BTN a 10% (?) range. When you exclude AAxx hands, BTN's EQ goes down to about 29%:
Tbh I haven't thought about every variable during the hand. For example, I did not think about, that BTN maybe was just flatting the 3bet and 4bet with AAxx. I think overall my play is fine, but yeah wasn't as sharp as I need to be.

Not the best spot preflop if he has AAxx. Still have the right odds to call and MAYBE, just MAYBE he just went crazy with some random crap, who knows.

Just about getting the right odds preflop when I give MP a 30% range (was playing 51/31/14 in 45 hands / 60% open from MP) and SB a 10% range (was playing 24/18/11 with 14% 3bet from SB in 948 hands). Had a bad feeling somehow when the money went in and I saw his hand.

hello everyone
Hope you can move up asap. glgl

I don't know what it is, but these ****heads seem to get triggered by my avatar or something.
