Of course you do, because that appears to be all you're about on these forums - negativity, and tearing people down. Kind of tough to take a hard stance on one guy in a thread where the slings are coming from many directions and the OP doesn't seem too bothered, but I constantly notice your negative posts throughout our forums, and so do the people who report them. No one particular post ever seems quite bad enough to deal with, but your body of work is such that it's almost time to say enough is enough.

Some days I only eat 2 meals. I actually eat less than the average person. That's why I'm underweight.

Often the food only costs $10 but then I'll pay $5 for a drink like a vitamin water or ginger beer during my poker session. And I have a $2 iced coffee every morning too. So that's $27/day spent just on my own if I eat 2 meals.

If my girlfriend has a day off work, then I'll typically take her out to a Thai restaurant, which will cost me around $60 on average. They're not super expensive high class restaurants or anything, most of the time it's just a cheap takeaway restaurant. We'll usually order more than we can eat and then she'll bring whatever is leftover to work the next day. This might happen around 3 times per week.

So that's how the total adds up to $300/week spent on food and drinks, even when I'm eating at basically the cheapest possible restaurants and I'm eating less than the average person.

And that's not including alcohol, which I included in the $120/week entertainment expense. I'm trying to cut down a lot on alcohol though. I'm not going to drink this month at all.

I spent less than 2k total on a new phone and the trip to Sydney. The only other expenses are rent, food and drinks. And my rent isn't even that high.

I'm surprised at how low my bankroll is, given what I've earnt.

$2555 per year on flavored water seems a little overkill imo, but australia is expensive so idk

Do it. I want to see more Crown players emerge. I'm also waiting for someone in Melbourne to start a poker vlog that I can follow.

6, I know they don’t do comps in the casino but do you have to pay for all soft drinks too? Or is vitamin water just the exception for that?

You have to pay for everything.

After all, we only pay 10% rake up to $15 per hand so they can’t be expected to give us any discounts. In Sydney we now get free undrinkable coffee and a discount on barista coffee and bottles of water, but everything else is at a huge premium. A beer at the casino is about $10

Gross, guess I’m really spoilt with free soft/hot drinks and 5% capped at £5 rake. How much is a bottle of water and a latte then?

I apologize if I've been too negative.

I notice that the atmosphere on 2+2 is quite a negative place in general (eg. lots of snide comments, sarcastic comments, putting people down) and it's sometimes hard not to get sucked into that negative way of thinking. I've seen many other posters who have been equally or more negative than me - both in the PG&C section and in other sections of the site. Not sure why I'm getting reported so often?

Again, I'm sorry and will try to give a more positive outlook.

So quick to dump on him about problem solving? The guy has every problem in the book and cant solve any of them, even the easiest of solvable problems, despite being given mostly advice from dozens of people.

You dont agree with how I played the hand. That doesn't make me wrong. I have no doubt Im a better player and have won more money playing poker than you so forgive me if I ignore your strategy advice

Feeling sick. Taking a few days break.

So it's Winter in Australia and I just caught a cold. Pretty bad timing given that today was the Queen's birthday public holiday and the games no doubt would've been above average. But I didn't play.

I've decided that I'm going to take 3 days break from poker (today, tomorrow and Wednesday) to give myself time to rest and recover. I know a lot of other people have no qualms showing up to the casino with a cold/flu and infecting everyone else, but that's just not my thing. Besides, I don't play my A game when I'm sick. And it would probably do me a bit of good to take a few days break anyway, given that I've been jumping stakes a lot recently and I need to rewire my brain to remind myself that I'm just a 1/3 NL reg and I shouldn't be playing anything else.

Currently watching a tonne of YouTube videos on my laptop, ranging from poker stuff to random cartoons to documentaries about life in Thailand to more poker stuff. I've also been watching a lot of Prison Break on Netflix. Feels good seeing people even more degenerate than myself, even if they are fictional characters.

So yeah, I'll be back in a few days, hopefully feeling refreshed and healthy by Thursday.

That's quite a lot. That's around $1700 a month. Have you looked into cutting that figure down? You could save money on food and reinvest it into your poker bankroll so you can move up the stakes quicker.

How much is your rent and bills per week?

Respect for not going to the casino while sick. I hate people who do that.
A step in the right direction as far as good decisions go.

Oh really?
Want to bet on that? I will give you odds if you like.
I made 500k in 2009 200k in 2010 around 200k in 2011 not sure 2012
2013 200kish 2014 100k+ 2015 200k
Quit online in 2016 and most of 2017 to play live because I couldn't grind anymore online due to burnout
returned online in 2018 jumped into zone 200 and obliterated the games and am now playing 2/5 and heading back to 5/10 and hopefully 10/20.
I have graphs from 2013+ if you want proof.

Any2cards2008 can verify who I am

That's a bad bet since he can see if he made more than you or not, right? You just offered him a freeroll basically.

I got my money on a guy named "big nuts" as being a great player.
