    I told you 3betting the flop is better :-)

    funnily enough that thread went through my mind as he raised the flop i did have a terrible image at the time on the table, i knew as soon as he raised the flop he expected me to 3b bluffraise. one of those really sweet moments in poker when you know exactly how a hand is going to transpire

    ty sir

    quick update; had a really good month live, won about £1.5k. been playing really well, running reasonable and also been in some super good games. as an example a guy who's shown down some silly bluffs opens UTG 8 handed, i flat KQo, CO flats and we go 3way to the flop. flop is QT7r he cbets like £20 into £25, we both call, turn 4 he bets £40 and then starts staring at me intently (i would usually fold vs unknowns but this in my experience is a sign of weakness almost 100%). i shove for my £70 behind, CO folds and he reluctantly calls off the rest. River is a King, i say two pair, he asks before the river or after, seemingly quite appalled as he flips Q2dd lol

    online has been going reasonably but my PT3 is somewhat fkd so not entirely sure on my totals and hence i have no hands to post

    About the KQ hand: I've asked a few very strong players for their thoughts on that spot and there is no consensus. tannnej likes the 3bet. I asked ATOTHEC and he thinks calling is better. So I think it's really close either way and doing what you did, i.e. choosing to 3bet or call based on your image/read, is def the best thing to do.

    yeah i think thats true. id imagine both options would run very close EV wise if you were to run them out vs a random sample of villains

    quick update

    won some at 30nl on ongame since last post, but mostly been concentrating on my live play. been winning quite a decent chunk at 1/1 and 1/2 live

    just took the sick end of a chop in a £150 tourn for £3.5k ($5.6k), 6 players left, had half the chips and first was 4k

    couple of hands. early on live pro with 340k live tourn winnings opens co to 350 at 5/100 i 3bet A4o to 1250 from SB, 18k effective, he calls. flop K66cc, i cbet 1200, he makes it 3000, i make it 5400, he makes it 10800 and i insta jam. he tank folds but obv was trying to save face.... and yes i showed

    final table i have chip lead with about 360k 7 handed, 1.2mill in play, second has 260k. he opens to 30k at 5/10k from utg+1 i flat 8h8s on the button, blinds fold. flop A53dd, he cbets 10k lol i call. turn 8d he bets 30k i call. river Qd he jams for 170k, i call after not much thought and he shows Q9cc. i'd 3b him earlier at the final table with A2cc and showed when he folded AQo faceup so felt he was gonna try and put an own on me, plus he only reps maybe 2 combos of KdXx hands. that was pretty much the tournament there

    saver time;

    Haha you keep mentioning it but not sure how serious you are about it.... However, I'm probably gonna look into coaching 3-4 uNL/SSNL students sometime in the near future.
