Started another PG&C thread recently, but everythings changed since then so here we go again with a proper one for 2015.

Basically my computer broke down, lost my database, cashed out and didn't play for a while.. but I'm back feeling better mentally with a new mindset and new goals. I'm pretty sure I have ADD or similar and it sometimes messes with my head alot. Just got clean 7 weeks ago aswell from a 1 year (everyday) drugabuse, took 22 days to be able to wake up in the morning not stressed and shaky.

Short Info:

Mid 20's from Sweden currently living in Gibraltar, applying for jobs atm 50-100% so we'll have to wait and see how that goes but will play alot of poker no matter what.

Goals along the way:

Achieve GoldStar VIP status in december [ ]
- This will make Supernova pursuit a litte bit easier at least

Reach 50NL Zoom tables with min 30bi by June 1st [ ]

Start 2015 playing 10NL mainly [ ]

Why Supernova?

Couse it's cool obv!
I have realized that result orientated goals never brought anything good to the table for me, I think Supernova pursuit would be something fun to achieve and to many short term goals just gets in the way for my game so this is something I think is far enought into the future but still doable. Not sure if I make any sense I'm just rambling thoughts randomly really, having a bad cold at the moment to, very annoying!

Starting point: (started yesterday)

Bankroll: 45$ (now 81$ , got a vpp stellar reward 10$ )
Tables: 2NL Zoom

I started out yesterday with a 8k hands session in my bed lol, played alittle more today mixing in some 5NL hands reaching the celebrating 10k hands mark that made me get out of my bed and write this PG&C pilot.

Results so far:

So here it goes, only up from here hopefully
PS: pls dont give me a hard time for starting a 2nd pg&c xx

I try to always improve my game by testing out new things and find ways to exploit opponents, this isn't a big hand or anything but I think all the small pots are probably alot more important then std big ones, coolers or flips but is forgotten by many players. My thought process during hand:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pre: unknown fi minraises, prolly donk so u could 3bet for value but i chosse flatting since i dont know and dont wanna get blown off by bb as im not closing action.

Flop: donking for value, no reason to give free card or c/c not knowing where we stand and might need to c/c/f is bb check/raises and thats no fun!

Turn: headsup and turns a random brick, checking to induce fi to take a stab at the pot thinking i gave up with his air or bet for value with his mediums keeping the pot small as he cant raise with his monsters.

River: making a wtf bet having him calling with alot of crap and might induce a bluff raise with his air type of hands

Any thoughts? Feel free to post own hands if you want to discuss anything, im just a donkey but u can only get better right? Back to tables!

Good luck on your journey! With regards to your goals, I think you should first focus upon what actions will allow you to meet your monetary goals. I think goals that motivated by actions will ultimately be more likely to succeed. Purely monetary goals could be negatively affected by variance. For example even though your game may have improved, the results may not necessarily accurately depict that you have improved. In addition, it will be more obvious when you meet your goals and when you are slacking off.

Played some morning 10NL and did well, this gr8 start keeps me really motivated!
I currently need about 700 vpp's to get GoldStar VIP before this year comes to an end so that shouldn't be a problem. Getting sick of this stinky silver status...

BR: 230$ (+185$)

Thnx! And no i don't have a thread, but definitely will be following this one. I haven't had much problems with 2NL but I went tilt running under ev taking shots on 5NL so will go back to 2NL for a couple of days. Also I'm more of a MTT player so it will take some time to adjust to cashgames.
