Okay, Some information.

I started playing poker when i was underage on full tilt and i ran up a few bankrolls to the hundreds, but always busted them due to tilt or took a shot at 400nl with 1bi for the rail.

I recently turned 18 in march i had to deposit on pokerstars to pay off a debt and had $6 left in my account i ended up coming 6th in a $1 donkament for $126 after that i started playing $2 and $5 HUSNGs got my roll to about $190ish and have been grinding $5nl since, im currently on $290 and going to hit $10nl as soon as i break the $300 mark. Im playing pretty nitty brm as i dont want to go busto anytime soon (cant really afford to redeposit).
Hopefully be playing 100nl by the new year Realistic?

You have already shown you are not particually disciplined. Therefore it is likely you will just play 100NL just to achieve your goal even if you are not ready.

Just build a 1k roll playing 10NL mainly. Get some good fundamentals.

Goal structure

1. Main goal

2. Subdivived into smaller medium term goals

3. Mini goals. Such as play 1k of hands today. Or do some spreadsheets.

i have lots of smaller goals just didnt seem threadworthy.
and i have my tilt under control i only done it becuase the money didnt feel real it was more like play chips as i was underage and couldnt withdraw..

Just finished a session there at $5nl made $12 roll now = 302

next time i play ill be playing 10nl wish me luck

Just finished my first session at 10nl only played 2 tables to get the feel for it only played for a hour ended up + $20 roll is now at = $320

if you originally started winning your money and grinding up your BR in torneys then why change?

I think a mistake a lot of people make in poker, especially low limits is trying a little of everything instead of sticking to there strenghts, thers a bit on this weeks pokercast with jorg where he says a little bit on this subject.

i understand, 1 table sng's are a good way to build a BR tho
