Well...today hit a brick wall and a **** load of bad beats...OMG it's horrible...hitting sets, straights and when your opponents sucks out big time with the infamous runner runner BS...lol... almost every all in hand i'm leading but they seem to suck out almost everytime...it's unbelievable...it's tough right now to get a first place with all the suckouts...well right now I forced myself to move back down to the $7's STT's while this bad run is still on...I've gone through about 15 tables without a cash which is frustrating and dropped down about $200+.

What do players do when these bad runs occur...Do they stop playing? Play through them a little tighter? Drop down stakes?

I decided I'll play through this bad run...but move down the stakes to the $7 buyins so that variance wouldn't be so bad and depressing..lol jk...thats poker right!...So back to the game...gl guys.

Welcome to sngs.Firstly your bnkrm sucks.Seriously 42 bis?Even acbarone told he had countless 30+ bis downswings who was one of the best.As i can understand you are not an expert in some format. The main advice i can give you is drop the tables to focus more. You must start concern when you have more than 50 bis downswings.Furthemore you must read some things about variance.Peace

Its gonna get way, way worse. Just prepare yourself for the swings and do some research on what kind of variance to expect so it doesnt hurt so bad.

Also keep in mind theres a decent chance youre a losing player in these games. I wouldnt be comfortable taking your ROI at face value until you have at least 5000 games, and even then its not going to be that accurate.

Just to temper your expectations, Id guess that the absolute top guys are getting maybe 10% roi at the 15/9s and 7% at the 15/6s. Those even might be a bit high.

I dont think there are regs in our days that have 10% roi pre rakeback.I think a 7% roi is doable in turbos but it takes a lot of hard work

Yo Rusemandingo...Thanks for the "positive" advice...not like most people...I'm pretty sure the positive advice will help in the future as I gain more experience in these games.
