Coaching, coaching coaching
I will state it again, I'm not interested in giving anyone coaching at the moment. Possibly after I make SNE depending how many good hyper players are dumb enough to have started giving coaching I'll have to start too..
Turbos will most likely resume to be available for coaching after I make my points by the way.

I start reading your thread from the begginning and i saw you had some tough paths. Could you tell me how you improved mentally in order to win variance?
Trial and error. When I was young I busted 90% of my roll once when i was tilted (about 4k) and decided to never do it again. I have tilted sometimes but mostly its throwing around mouses and ****.

Not looking at your green line and redline helps too by the way if you are really struggling hard

Quote:
What do you think about the redline, can i see yours?
I only look at it once a month. This is me with the redline if I look more then that:

Green>Red day/week:
FML, I'm a regfish, only a matter of time I will cliff down and start living the -ev prerakeback life, fmlfml I suck.

Red>Green day:
FML, I'm the most unlucky pokerplayer in the world. Why do i deserve this, **** this ****, rigged ****ing bull****.

If I look at it over big samples I can atleast see something from the redline and that is if you are beating it nicely, shortterm just so much variance in it. I know people who get Aces 3handed and get it in against jacks for 2500 chips on the bubble and as soon as they won or lost the hand they refresh their holdemmanager to see what their redline did. Basically refreshing their holdem manager every 10 minutes to see what their redline is doing. Useless bs.

Do you really think that there is a possibility that i never take these money back?
EV doesnt have a memory alot of people forget this, if you feel that you are entitled to get ur EV 'back' then u have the wrong mindset for this game

Quote:
Hi crusher. How do u do ? I really like your work ethic, what motivates u ?
Lack of goals will def not help your progress, get goals that are hard but attainable and your progress will go faster. Also being ****ing addicted as **** to this game helps too

Quote:
can you tell me what leaks are you trying to find so i can search mine too? Thank you
I'm not going into this too much allthough I feel that most players focus too much on one thing and way too little on something else. (who cares if u call k8o or k9o )

Quote:
What sngs would you recommend for a novice sng player?
Hard to say, different for everyone, try them out and think where your strenghts are etc. I would either go 180+ if you want to go to mtts later on or 6-9man hyper if you dont have that ambition. 18man are pretty dead lately because coaches that dont play the game themselve give out mass strategy advice on them with videos and such which creates alot of mediocre regs.

Would you quit poker for 1 million euro?
If you had to change your nickname what would it be?
08-26-2012 , 08:40 AM
I was wondering a few days ago how a top hyper player his showdown/non-showdown winnings graph would look. If you're in the answering questions-mood, maybe you feel like you can provide this ? (doesn't have to be of an enormous sample obv )
08-26-2012 , 08:44 AM
Even though i never asked, 2nd and 3rd question are diamonds for me. I cant imagine how hard is to look red line once a month but it would be great if i could do that too

At least now i never look during the sessions because i turned HEM off. I always look after my sessions but at least now i dont have ups and downs mentally during the session because of lines

Before that i was line addicted. I was doing exactly what you say aka KK vs JJ in bubble look red line. It was really frustrating

Maybe someday i could sustain looking red line once a week

Gl in your life!!!

If you measure by amount of BOP freeroll tickets won, he most certainly is!

EDIT: by typing that I just realised that your run at mercury last week would've been worth 10k during the 10 year anniversiry promotion http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/prom...iversary/botp/

lol i know man ;p

You said 18 man are pretty dead lately. Do you refer in 15$ or 30$?

What do you think is a sustainable roi in 15$s for a decent reg?

Spite coaching?

I think you're at least supposed to wait til you can't beat the games anymore, direct people to your graph from 2+ years ago, and charge 5 times+ your current hourly.

I dono, just in general its not really worth learning anymore i think, stille very game beatable for about 7-10% up to 100s i think if you are the best, but realistically 4-7 at 15s 3-5 at 30s and 0-5 at 60-100 or something

Way earlier this year Quad told me I'm the best 18 man player. I have an 11.2% ROI in them so obviously that's the peak of achievable.

All joking aside, it looks like there is decent traffic at 15's and 30's still but I'm not seeing many 60's and 100's pop off. The profit ceiling has shrunk a ton in these games due to diminishing volume - hence telling you to learn a different format. It's not like the 18 man's are difficult to beat.

omfg, I feel like I am your railbird there, but another Q: do u have some other source of income ? And o you stake people or do you "just" play ?
08-30-2012 , 01:12 AM
Now that you have a significant sample of 6max hypers in different levels, would you share what ROI's are attainable in the levels above $15 ?
