Well, I definitely hope to grind a lot, but I can't go live somewhere new and not explore at least some. Once my spanish gets better there will be some other smaller cities I will prob go visit for a couple days here and there. There are a few grinders here, mostly PLO cash guys, we go out to dinner and chick hunting in bars now and then.

Well, I was sick a week or so ago, like a cold or something, wasn't so bad that I couldn't function, but just made going about the day feel annoying. I thought I had beaten it, so I started going out again, and now it has returned with a vengeance. Also, been having internet problems, net was out for most of last night, and my backup needs credit added on it (can't do it myself, because I can't speak good spanish yet). I'm trying to look into getting a better internet package, they have a 30mb one, but the problem is not really the speed, it's the stability. So, I'd hate to go spend a bunch of money for "faster" internet, and have it be just as unstable as the first.

Oh, and since I'm sick, I am going to recruit one of my bar girls, Paula, to come take care of me.

Do u consider the chicks there on the conservative side? Cuenca is more conservative than Guayaquil, but girls are still a bit freaky if they want to hook up with you. Pretty interesting.

I guess this depends on your definition of conservative. First let me say that it means absolutely nothing to make about with a chick in a bar here. Nothing. A girl will make out with you and then make out with someone else ten min later. It doesn't mean that you're going to get action at the end of the night, and that was kind of hard to get used to.

Actually getting to the next step seems to be fairly difficult, but I think I have a handle on how to go about it. First, chicks are not into getting down the first night they meet you in the bars as much. I think you have much more success if you invite them over in the next day or two after meeting them. Second, all the girls really like making out and will do it for hours. If you do that, she will have gotten what she wanted and will go home. Resist the urge to make out with a chick all night if you want it to go somewhere else.

So I'd say less conservative in regards to meeting talking and making out with you, more conservative in actually giving it up. Being foreign helps a lot.

Uh, most have left I think, but there is still some. I know about 4-5 grinders here right now, and I'm sure there are more around that I will run into. Used to be a huge community of them, not sure why everyone left, but I think more and more are going to start coming back due to the fact that a US dollar gets you like 30% more now than it did 4 years ago.

Yeah I love to grind to his music, he just put out his 3rd CD, Days Away. If you just youtube him you come up with all kind of great tracks, "guitar sound" is probably his best one, but there are many many good ones. I'm all about "throwing fire" and "loui".

Yeah it's decent size, fairly simple, but enough room for me for sure, since it's just me

Well, as Quads would say, always something. Hour and a half into my grind, SNG registration goes down. Hope they don't take too long to fix it.

Thats pretty ****ed with the registration stuff. Is Stars still trying to say that its not their issue or what? I still get that thing occasionally where itll only have games that are running in the registration lobby and ill have to switch to the mtt tab and then switch back to get it working. Dont think ive lost any more money to it but def annoying.
