Hola!

I had another PGC thread, but so much has changed in my life since I started it, that I decided just to start fresh. I'm SandmanNess, play on Stars grinding 6 and 9 man hypers. I've been playing hypers about 8 months now, mid stakes, with not great and not terrible results. I would like to get SNE and a half with some pre rb profit to go along with it .

I'm from the States, I was living in Vancouver for the past year and a half, but got tired of all the rain and cold, so I asked around for a good place to go that was warm and had great nightlife, and bam, here I am in Argentina. Quite funny that I ended up here, because I don't speak any spanish. At all. Even with the huge language barrier, I can say without a doubt that Buenos Aires is without a doubt the most awesome place I have lived so far. The girls are smoking hot, the food is great, and the bars and clubs are awesome, and everything is very cheap. Bout to put in a small session now, so I'll update more on BsAs life later along with some not-so-pretty graphs. Ciao!

Have you taught yourself hypers through trial and error or working with a coach or anything?

I will be 26 this month (sooo old gah) Had several coaches that do well at hypers, obviously have done loads of work on my own as well, but couldn't have gotten decent without the help of others in the community. I will be posting graphs fairly consistently (I hope), I reset my SS graph for the start of this year, was not able to start grinding till around the 21st of Jan due to having to find a place to live and getting set up with buying a monitor and stuff. graph for the year so far about 12 days of grinding or so.

Mixed drink in a bar: $3.50 US
Bottle of midgrade Vodka in the grocery store: $8 US
Dinner for 2 in a nice restaurant witha 2L of Stella $35-40 US
Bottle of Champ in the bar: $20 US
Don't drink much beer, but I'll find out the price.

Rent is kind of expensive because not every realtor will rent to foreigners, and the ones that do charge more. I have a 1 BR in the middle of the city that is $1150 but it's in a really good location so I'm ok with paying a little more. Pretty much all electronics are more expensive than the US but I got a 24 in LED monitor for like $250, so I don't think that's too outrageous, but if you try to by an unlocked Iphone 5 it will probably be around $1200

Do you need any kind of visa over there or can you pretty much come over and stay as long as you want? I think im gonna gg mexico after this year.

Taking classes every day, I say probably after about a month or 2 I will be able to at least communicate somewhat. Apparently I don't need spanish to get laid here though lol.

Uhh, no visa, you aren't suuuupposed to stay more that 90 days at a time, but if you just hit up a neighboring country for a day or two, or go home for a visit, it's fine. They just want you to come and spend money. Which is easy considering as I'm sure you know, the US-Peso rate is the highest it's ever been at 8-1

Yeah sounds like down here. I think officially youre an illegal after 72 hours but you can stay as long as you want as long as youre not doing stupid ****. Looking forward to hearing how it is there, might have to consider it for next year.

My mom was born there and I still have a lot of family in BA. I visit pretty frequently and am heavily considering moving there next year. There are certainly some negative aspects of living in BA, but they are far outweighed by many of the positives you already listed. Quality of women and inexpensive standard of living being a couple of the major ones.

GL this year. I guess Mexico was too safe, so you decided to fly over all the way down to BA?

Yeah there was some weird things here that took some getting used to, like the fact literally every building is covered with graffiti and bars, and you just put your trash out on the sidewalk everyday to get picked it. But once I got used to it, I realized it's a pretty awesome place.

Been here about 2 1/2 weeks , I really can't get over how awesome the girls here, and they love when you play the foreigner card. I've taken home several chicks from bar who spoke next to no english whatsoever. On thursday, friday and saturday, clubs will stay open till 8 in the morning, it's a huge party city.

Yea, it is a really big part of the culture for the girls to be hot. They legitimately will not let fat girls into most of the clubs in BA, strictly based on their weight. It is kind of effed up on one hand, but looking at the girls in that city, it is obviously works on some level.

haha didn't know that, now it makes sense. Was trying to explain to my friend how it is, and the best that I could come up with was that if you walk into a bar/club and pick 10 girls at random, 7 out of the 10 will be a 7.5 or higher.

Well, time to grind, been running kind of bad lately, hope it turns around today
