you don't really need to be "rolled" for the main event, like you don't need a 1 million bankroll or w/e to play it with all your action, it's 1 tournament a year, it's just taking a shot

The roll is fine, don't worry! I'm rolled for 5/10, playing 2/5 while not running the best. Starting to run a lil better now so hopefully mix in some 5/10 again over the next week!

Think it's rly naive to suggest that running badly for a couple of weeks shouldn't change your schedule; a bit of downtime/review/more HH discussions etc are a lot better for your EV than just sitting there grinding it out!

Lazy AF day today for most of the day, we didn't go out until around 10pm and only stayed for 4 hours or so. Early in the sesh I 3b 54cc IP vs some midget Euro dude and cbet 892ccx flop. Turn 2x and I bet again and he tank jams and I snap fold and he starts laughing and goes "gotta go with my read!" He's obviously never bluffing here and has 88/99/A2s or AA always. I just smile and say "full houses are good hands" and he legit goes to me "HAHAHAHAHA God I love you Americans!" at a table full of fkn Americans. I told him I wasn't from America and he tried to be my pal after that and I basically told him to fk off, disrespectful little dweeb. American recs are of course great for any pros to play with, but to shout that out at a table full of Americans was ****in ridiculous.

Was down about $500 at that point and then put a lot of money in OTT w T high vs 2 players and binked the river keeping that HH to myself for obvious reasons hehehe.

Ooo fun story. French rec in our game is tanking 20 to 30 secs pre every hand. Some dude limps MP, dude raises to 25 with 1x25 chip. Clearly says raise and it's clearly a raise to 25. French rec is in SB and pulls his $2 back and says 'call' and throws in 1x$5 chip. Dealer is like it's 25 sir and he goes ohhh sorry and pulls his $5 chip back and then announces raise and chucks in $85 lmao. The table was suuuuper friendly and we were all laughing and joking and we had legit been talking about angles in poker etc for about 10 mins leading up to this point. Everyone was very unimpressed by this **** tho. I'm not in the hand and I just say "floor." Dealer is like no it's fine I'm not gonna let him raise and I'm just like "floor". Floor is called and I tell the floor that this guy is a scumbag etc and floor is like ok if he does anything like that again he's out of here. 5 mins later and we all call the floor again coz he is taking so long pre. Different floor is called over and we tell him that this dude is taking so long and he goes to the floor "I em leaving anywaysss, zey are all colluding agayyyynnnsst me!" ****ing scumbag lmao.

Move to a new table and I sit down some friendly fella says "oh hey gazzy!" I say hi and ask if I know him and he says "no, I've seen your stream though!" A guy I play a bit with who I'm friendly with from Illinois goes "Oh you didn't tell me you stream Scotland!" and I say "you didn't ask Illinois!" and the guy who recognises me pipes up with "yeah I watch his stream for how NOT to play poker", was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I stacked the guy who recognised me about 20 mins after sitting down. UTG opens to 20, 3 calls, I call 65hh in BB. Flop is 789r, x/s round. Turn Ax and we all x to CO who bets 70 into 100, we make it 270 and he calls. 9x river and we still jam it in for about 1.1x pot and we get a tank call. Happy to fade the snap call there OTR

One more fun story from tonight, very pretty dealer sits down and Illinois (who is a dude in his 40s or so, rly funny guy) says to her "Naomi if you had to pick one player at the table to date, who would it be?" and she starts laughing and says she'll tell us at the end (she never did). Next dealer sits down called Ben and I say "Ben if you had to pick one player at the table to date who would it be?" and Ben absolutely loves it. Can't remember how but the table started a running joke that Ben and I were dating. When I won the above pot I said "Ben, my love is a sufficient tip right?" and he laughed and said no so I tipped him and Illinois said "He'll give you the tip later." and some Florida dude at the table went "yeah they call that docking, he'll do docking with you later!" You had to be there but it was so funny

Booked a +2.6k day today, my biggest since getting to Vegas. Might just manage to see out this trip til 4th August now that the tides seem to be turning!

I'm still gonna plan to play the main, even tho there's a very small chance I don't play. Happy to hear feedback on the package. Last year I sold at 1.5 very quickly, but ppl not so keen this year! Holla if you want a piece troops

Played the most incredible game of football I've ever played in yesterday. One of the German mixed game crushers enters a team every year and it's a lot of fun. A few weeks ago we played a group of local Vegas lads and they were absolutely incredible, and spanked us about 14-3. Tonight we played them again and it was ****ing bizarre. They had about 75% possession but we kept winning the ball back and cutting through them at lightning pace and finishing emphatically to win 13-12. At one point towards the end of the game a wee black kid called Zico who was ****ing class did about 12 stepovers as he ran at me and tried to skip away to my right. GazzyfockinB read him like a book and blocked the ball with my right leg, the poor kid was going so fast he tripped over the ball and went flying. Before he had stopped rolling I had burst forward and slid in one of the German boys to finish. Thoroughly satisfying win.

In other news, I have been going back and forth in my head for about a week now about whether to gg the trip in early July or stick it out as planned til 4th August. I fiiiiiiiinally made up my mind last night...
