Great start to the new year. Slept until about 5pm then went to play. Lost 5.4k. Played pretty well I thought.

First big pot, utg opens to 60, +1 calls, I have 78cc. Given the big open I don't rly wanna sqz this hand so decided to flat, which I think was a bit of a mistake now. Can just let it go. Anyway flop comes down 4qjccx and raiser x. Other guy bets 100, I flat and original raiser surprisingly makes it 425 (they're both recs fwiw). We both call. Turn is a 7. Utg jams. I do some quick math in my head and work out the price is right and call. Brick river and lose to JJ. CHIIIIIIIPS!

Absolute slow bleed for about 7 or 8 hours followed that, just nothing I could do. One hand i vividly remember I open ako mp, 3 calls. Cbet on kj7fd 110 into 140, really shaky old nit makes it like 270 and I just lol snap mucked. Not a significant hand in any real way but just signified the frustration.

Down about 3k at this point and there's a strange table dynamic. 5 handed and this idiot fish in his mid 40s wearing a massive baggy red Adidas tracksuit keeps limping, and this new Asian American reg keeps isolating to 80 and winning it all pre. I want a make a stand but am so ****in card dead and I don't wanna 3b something like 67o to 230 so I bide my time. Eventually same thing happens and i get AJo in sb. I make it 225. Reg flats. Q99r flop. I bet 1/3. Reg knows the 1/3 strat as he's done it a few times also. He calls. Turn 5. I bet around 60% here to get him to fold everything that isn't a queen. Think it works fairly well. Was shutting down otr BUT when he called he said "I gotta see one more." Fell for it hook line and sinker. Was like "lol obv I jam river now and this idiot folds." River another 5, after 20 secs I say all in and start to push a stack in. As I'm ****in reaching for a stack i hear a faint 'plop'. Look up and got the insta 1 chip snapperoo. Dude had KK. Didn't expect it at all.

It's 7am and the place is empty. They move the entire table to the other side of the room for cleaning purposes. I take a break and the table looks super sick now so I jump back in. Start to finally win some pots (hadn't got my 1500 max buy in over 2k all bloody night yet). A new reg to the table is talking to an older rec he is friendly with and says "yeah last January I went on the sickest downswing ever, 10 days I didn't win a gawd damn hand!" Fast forward 5 minutes and he 3b a btn open and sb call from bb, jams hu vs btn on 345r for 600 eff, gets snapped and then says that he hasn't looked yet (!!!!!). Other guy has JJ. Reg flips over a6o on bricked runout and bemoans his luck. I make extreme slow roll mental note.

Floor insists upon moving us back to other side of room an hour later. Ppl say fk this and leave, I give her **** for her sheer stupidity, she's fighting back the tears as she tells me to rack up and move. I'm a bit tilted but we all move minus a few players and get back to it. There's a drunk European rec who is a bit of a dick but big fish.

I'm up about 800 since my last rebuy and feeling the epic rostucko. I get red KK and iso a limper to 60. Euro fish says "100 more and chucks out 185". Folded round to me and I say to the dealer "how much?" and point. Drunk Euro guy is standing up and realises it's more than what it should be. This has taken about 3 seconds and this fat old guy goes "one eighty fiiiiiiiive, let's go!" I'm like er ok, miscalculate fishies stack (thought it was 900) and pile it in. Deep breath. "All in??" Dealer says yes. Another deep breath. Looks at me. "Ok fine let's do it!" I'm oop and first to show otr so I just say gl and show. No reaction.

J42 flop. Nothing.

4 turn. Nothing.

10 river. Extreme celebration. Jumping about screaming yes yes yes. I'm like aw **** rivered.

He turns over two black aces. Starts shouting how he has me covered and demanding my stack. I'm just sitting there thinking about whether it's worth getting banned from the Commerce for knocking this clown into next week. This all happened in the presence of a fellow London reg who was just looking at me like wtf is going on, all the while this guy is going "all of it, all of it." While the dealer is counting my obviously much larger stack. Bizarre to say the least. Guy also didn't play another hand. Snap left lol. Safe to say I didn't stay much longer either.

Since the last update it's all a total blur. I won 1313 in yesterday's session. Started off great, game went 3h with me, a decent American reg and an Asian fish whale thing who loved to gamble. I 3b and bet bet jammed vs the reg on 103235hxxhh w red kk sb vs btn for 2.1k eff and got called by worse. Then we realised there was another fkn 5/10 running so we went and joined. Was a great table and genuinely awesome fun. I ran it up a bit more and then lost a huge pot where truth be told I massively misplayed river due to a bit of nervousness...

EP Asian older reg opens Q5ss (lol), middle aged Asian lady preflop whale postflop nit (absolutely lovely lady) calls 9xss, 2 other callers, I call bb 78ss. Flop naturally AT6sss. I x, reg who opens x (lol), lady bets 125, I pop it to 400, reg cold calls, Asian lady jams 680. I ask "can I raise?" Dealer says "no.". Few seconds of silence. "Please?", table laughs, dealer smiles. We both call.

Turn Qx. I bet 975 here (v bad sizing if I'm gonna bet, was just a bit taken aback by what was happening). Asian reg calls. River 4x. I x. He tank bets 1515 and I call. Rly hate my turn and river plays but still an unfortunate hand.

Can't remember anything else that happened but I recovered from that to win 1300. Rushed home at 11.45 to pack my **** up for the 12pm move, found both housemates still asleep. Told hu4hoes to wake me up when they wanted to move. He woke me up at 3 and I am absolutely convinced as he woke me I said something rly horrible to him but can't remember what. He says I didn't. Must've dreamt it.

Moved to new house and went to bed until 1am today. Got to Commerce today and played 5 handed with 3 regs and 1 fish. The game changed and it was me, a 10/20 reg and 2 Israeli fish, one of which was very angry. Anyway reg opens btn, I 3b AQhh from bb to 125, he makes it 300 and I flat. Flop is AsJs5x. He cbets 50%ish and I call. Turn is 9s. I x and he jams for about 950 into 1200. I sigh, grimace, look away, ask for a count, do all the usual stuff that suggests at showdown that I was good enough to consider folding this hand ott but in reality there's just no chance I'm ever folding. I eventually call and he immediately asks if I have a spade. I say no and turn my hand over. He says I'm good. River brick and he mucks.



Few hands later I get AQhh again in bb and he opens. I make it 130 and he calls. Flop is 753hhx. I x, he bets 150, I make it 495, he jams, I snap and turn my hand over. Q turn and he slams his hand on the table. River 4 and he picks his cards up and I'm like aw **** please no. Fortunately he wasn't picking them up to show me 76s. Took 3k off the poor fella in 10 mins!

Yesterday after my update the game died. I went home at about 8am and did absolutely nothing for the rest of the day until bed time at 8pm. Genuinely struggling to think of what I did for 12 hours. Finished up 3.2k, only down 1900 for the trip as of today.

This morning I got up at 8am and went for a run. I ran for 20 mins and ended up at some hiking trail, decided to go on it and it was absolutely brilliant, walked for hours and hours all the way to the top...

Was genuinely superb. Arrived at the commerce an hour ago with mr hoes, they start new table, a must move game. It starts off super awful but then got amazing. Naturally we both got moved when it got insanely good. Up about $1400 since starting this update, got QQ vs JJ vs a guy who called my 3bet, xc cbet on 733 and then donk jammed 8 turn and after the hand proclaimed I was gonna shove turn anyway so he may as well donk. Told him I totally agreed...

Edit - bizarre hand. Guy opens mp, 2 calls, I sqz red AA on btn, 2 calls. 532hhd flop. I cbet 280, one guy calls. 2 turn. He leads 350, I think at this point he's a reg but obviously a binman reg. Don't want him to bet fold 88 so just flat. River 10h he leads 350 again. I'm like ok this is weird I just call. **** has q4hh and I literally hate him now.

And now the original raiser who opened pre and snap folded flop is telling me how he shoulda 4bet pre and wishes he has. I wanna school these ****ing eejits with 10 secs of strat talk but instead I'm sitting here painfully smiling like ))))))))

Say there’s two games, whichever opened first will be the main game, the other the feeder. Once a seat becomes available on the main game, someone from the feeder just move to fill it.

One of my roommates pointed this out to me but I must have reported it incorrectly as I did the math at the table and the dealer was right. Maybe she only bet 100.

Not much to update unfortunately, down 5900 for the trip now. -4K last 2 sessions, 1 meh turn bet-call w 2p vs a nit and the rest just standard stuff. Yesterday I got stacked by hu4hoes in a standard spot in the first orbit of the day and grinded it back so well. Then I squeezed ATdd vs a whale and an unknown rec. Flop kk3ddx I cbet 65%, fish calls. Turn Jd I bet about 400 into like 900 and he goes "I can't fold this one" and piles it in. Obv hate it after the speech play but not folding and he just has KJhh for the sigh cooler. What made it worse was right after that happened the guy to my left touched my arm with his elbow, and it was the nastiest, roughest most crispest elbow I'd ever seen. Was much worse than losing the hand.

Also had this really angry Asian fish stand up the other day after losing a pot, whip out some plastic see through gloves and proceeded to peel a hard boiled egg with the shell going all over the show while muttering angrily in whatever language he spoke. Just plain bizarre.

Playing today and if I don't win I'll take a day or two off methinks. Staying positive :)
