Had a wild last couple of days playing live. I played for around 13 hours today with a few food breaks in between. Not sure exactly how much I won but it was a great day fun-wise. It got super weird right at the end though. Our game was breaking, there was me, an American regfish, a solid American reg & his girlfriend all racking up our stacks, when floor guy comes over and says a guy wants to sit for 1k. We look over and he's a drunk biker Ameribrah so snap unrack and get ready to rumble. First hand 5 handed super deep I open JTo utg to 10, he throws in 2x5 chips, then another, then another. Dealer catches my eye and she's obviously a bit uneasy so she says "raise?" and he says "yeah". Good reg calls, I call, flop is J73r. Ameribrah makes it 55 and I'm sitting there looking at my stack thinking this dude is gonna barrel off and I'm so scared money this deep and I hate my ****ing life. Gotta call flop tho. He checked back 6 bdfd turn, and river is 8d. I have Td so decide to bet $111. He goes "you got any of that?" and I say "nothing at all." And he says "You sure? Coz if you are lyin' to me I'll take you round back bro" and I was like "nothing at all mate" at this point thinking it was just banter. He calls and I say "I have a jack" and he really angrily goes "OH BRO YOU ****ED UP, YOU HAD SOMETHING!!" and then I realise yeah this isn't banter. I just sat there quietly saying "sorry it's the... the aim of the game". He was all like "not cool bro!" while staring hard at me. The cringeworthy silence was toe-curling. Then it's my BB and it's folded round and SB goes "chop?" and I say sure and biker brah slams the table and is all like "CHOP 5 HANDED?! THAT'S KIDDIE ****, **** THIS, ENJOY YOUR TWINKIE BULL****" and as he walks away I quietly say "I'll enjoy your $150 bro" and good reg starts giggling like a school girl all the while I'm praying Ameribrah hasn't heard me and won't come up behind me and kill me.

Fun times!

What can I say, I've been out the game for 5 years!

Had a really great time on this trip, gutted to be leaving. I met some awesome people and the weather/hotel/pools/beach/food etc etc was all fantastic, well worth the long grind now. I struggled a bit playing live to start, but adapted to it after a couple of days and if it weren't for some funky hands and a little more experience I'm sure results would've been better.

Not sure where to go from here poker-wise, I'm a bit disheartened by things at present, but that could just be post-trip blues. We'll see where we're at in a few days and take it from there!

I'm from Inverness! Yourself?

I've been home for about 4 days now, and I have literally slept for about 12+ hours every day. While it's obviously brilliant to spend all your time eating, sleeping and playing Super Mario, I'm going to drag myself back into some sort of acceptable way to live as of tomorrow. That'll include better volume (to be fair that started today), eating right, back to exercising, sleeping routine etc etc. Last few days have been quality, but the fun's over now! Graph since coming home...

Was a bit sticky to start with but playing better in patches. There's been a few periods where I've been really on my game and it's shown, but too many tilty phases. Some hands!

Gazzy that A10 hand shows perfectly why your still stuck rake grinding 50nl. Zero thought on villains range , your thought process clearly was 'I got trips yippeeeee all in'. Woeful. Thats 5nl mentality. As for the proof you posted about beating your stakes, without context its worthless. Post a proper graph and show the stakes, dont hand filter pick god knows what sample and stakes.

AT is high equity OTR due to V betting AJ+ Ax combos OTT with very high frequency. V's cutoff hands vs the raise isn't even Ax I think.

If V's dominating Ax combos weren't discounted so heavily by turn action, it would be totally different story.
