Well well well look who it is MR. TzurrR back at it for what will likely in yet again in disaster
I'm sorry I did not update this thread when i stopped playing but at the time i had more pressing things to worry about. As i mentioned before in this thread I struggle with Anxiety/Depression disorders and they have not been nice to me lately. Well in the past 8 months anyhow...
I last left off talking about grinding tournaments on Bovada and that is still the plan. I tried to get back into it too soon and my panic attacks relapsed. These attacks aren't due entirely to poker by any means but poker was a trigger. The last month or so I have been more stable than I have since this all began around 9 months ago. I'm finally free of medications and psychiatrists and feeling dare i say it back to 100. I want to be honest with this blog and so i won't say the depression is cleared but the anxiety is all but gone(knock on wood) and therefore I am ready to get back into the swing of things.
I am just now updating this blog but I've been playing poker since about a month ago. Grinding tournaments on both Bovada and ACR. The last i updated my roll we were at $1119 but we lost a couple hundred before i stopped playing so we were actually at more like $950 when we started back up.
SOOOO now onto poker. The first few weeks of grinding were brutal. I was getting back into playing after being out of the game awhile and on top of that we weren't running too hot. We were getting into great spots deep and losing massive flips. For those of you who play tournies you know the structure gets super shallow towards the end on Bovada so you are going to have to win some big flips and we just weren't doing that. After about 3 weeks we found ourselves down to out final $350 and with limited tourney options on Bovada we couldn't play lower stakes and things were looking slim.
As i was getting myself ready to re-deposit so we could be sufficiently rolled for $10 and under tourney's we hit a variance uptick...and in a BIG way! Big for me anyhow. We sattied into the nightly 25k GTD on Bovada for $7.70 and then went on to win it for $6150! Talk about a bankroll saver! That same night we also took down a 1k GTD for $420! Just like that we were back in the game. We quickly withdrew 4k for life purposes but left the remaining $2700 on for the bankroll to allow us to play all the $20 and under tourneys with some $25s and $30s sprinkled in! We also transfer $500 over onto ACR to give us a little more volume at the lower stakes.
3 days ago we had our first ACR trophy in a $6.60 r/a 2k GTD for $550 which helps our roll on there to be a little more healthy.
That takes us to now! Spring semester just started and I'm taking a few time draining courses such as Human Anatomy. But with the way my schedule worked out I will be grinding the afternoon schedule on Mon and Wens and then the normal nightly schedule on Fri, Sat, and Sun.
That is all folks! There is a chance i will be streaming from time to time on my twitch channel Twitch.tv/TzurrR once i get my new computer which will be arriving hopefully sometime this week! Other than that, as always, may the grind treat you with kindness and understaind, Nah Imagine???!!!
