Hi I´m a 22 year old dude from Sweden that´s trying to grind my way up the stakes. I started playing poker serioulsly in January this year where I started at 5nl. Took a break from grinding poker during summer but now I'm back and will be playing 25nl. My goal for this thread is to reach 100nl by the end of the year.

I recently reset my db but here's my 25nl results from the last 2 weeks

I can't view this picture myself for some reason (404 error) but I hope everyone else can, someone please let me know

Played a short midnight session!

Played decent not great but was a frustrating session

This is probably a punt, not sure, but the reg I was playing seemed like the guy that would turn Ahx into a bluff on river, and I'm only losing to very few combos.

Subbed. How do you find the 25z pool overall? I am also struggling when I move from 2 to 3 tables even if I am comfortable in most spots, but I always have the feeling that variance is increased with factor 1000. Never really experienced 8-9 BI downswings within one session when 2-tabling. GL at your journey!

                Thanks mate
The pool is really soft I feel like, its a lot of fish there when I stepped up there I thought a high winrate wouldnt be possible bc of rake, but a winrate of 6-8bb/100 seems possible from my time there (maybe more).
I have the same experience as you, but I think the variance I experience when I 3-tabling is just bc I play worse.

                Subbed!
I've been playing 2tbls on NL25 zoom + 2 normal tables to keep the volume as high as possible.
Zoom seems pretty fishy and there's loads of fishes in the pool imo.

If I add third zoom table, I feel like I play much worse and can't find good spots to play ''optimal'', same as you. Thats why I try to calm myself and play only 2 zoom tables.

I like ur playstyle by betting huge on certain spots. Dunno if thats the right play but man, that sure as hell seems solid

Yeah I've been thinking of mixing in a few reg tables aswell, it's just hard bumhunting the lobby at the same time as you are playing zoom.
U can print money by overbetting, the guy with a set of 8s tanked for a while and then called, so it seems like a good play

Played around in Crev and did some 3bet pots sims. Im hoping someone can help me understand one spot I can't get my head around.

I 3bet from Bu vs UTG and he calls

The ranges i put in were
UTG calling defend range vs 3bet

                and my 3bet range

After I bet 1/3 on flop with my entire range here this is what Crev tells UTG to do

I just cant understand how UTG should fold 80%, is my tree too simple or did I do something else wrong or is this just the correct way of playing these ranges?

I guess Im very overpair heavy in this spot that calling JJ isnt going to be profitable? And is this a sign that I should 3bet more than the range I put in?

Played a decent session today and manage to play quite well with 3 zoom tables.

vs fish, heart was beating very fast when I went all-in

hey man good luck with your challenge .
                      a couple of questions:
-dont you think that 30k hand is a small sample size to move up to 50nlz?.
-what is your true winrate? beacuse im playing also in this pool and the rake its taking me like 7bb/100 .. so in the graph of poker tracker said 5bb but this is after the rake so i guess u had a true win rate of 12bb/100 or so?..

                      keep the good work .

U can print money by overbetting, the guy with a set of 8s tanked for a while and then called, so it seems like a good play
That's true.. But I think it's way profitable (atleast for me) to play 2 zoom and 2 reg tables.

btw, wanna share ur stars nickname?

I hear u with the overbet... Might wanna add that strat to my own game aswell.

                      1. Yes 30k hands is a small sample but it's very likely that I'm a winning player at 25nl. I'm just gonig to start with taking 50nl shots to see if I can compete. There's "bad regs" I've played at 25z that right now have moved up to 50nl and 4 table so I think I can be winning there.
                      2. Well from this sample my "true winrate" is in this case 12-13bb/100. I get the feeling you think that 12bb/100 isnt sustainable?

I used hotkeys last night (in combination with starshelper) and 3 zoom tables wasnt that bad anymore, so 3 tables is going to be my standard from now on reg tables could be good if you just want a good winrate but I want to get alot of hands in aswell.
Yes I'm sending you a Pm
You should, just dont overbet vs mee

1.- yes i kind of had the same feeling, but i have like 90k hands and im a small winner so im trying to elevate my winrate first .. what do you think that should be the rake bb/100 in the 50z pool for what u have been playing?

2.-i do think is sustainable, and if u think that u are much better than the pool im with you in move in up.

3 i was courious in your nickname also in the stars

                      good luck !

I haven't played any 50nl at all so I have no idea how the rake is there but hopefully not more than 5bb/100. I'm moving up when I have the bankroll and I'm sure I can beat the stake before that. Right now I don't quite have the bankroll for 50nl but the confidence.
