Yeah is crazy to see it nine years later. I still can't believe that happened in the US.
I basically feel like Im in a different country as its so unique here versus anywhere else in the US.
I havent had any of the food yet as Im a picky eater and have been eating like a lamo since Ive been here but tomorrow I may expand my palate a little as will in the French Quarter most of the day and night.
Saw a bunch of girls hanging outside the strip joints, but didnt go in, not sure what will happen tomorrow night as its my the only night Ill be partying in NOLA before I leave. Kinda want to avoid that type of sketchy world, but sometimes sketch happens when u least expect it.
Tonight I went to a Mexican bar to eat, drink a few and play some pool. There was only like ten people in the place but when I walked in it was like the music stopped and everyone was staring at me as its a Latin place and dont think a lot of gringos visit. I nailed my ordering in Spanish and it was fun hanging there versus the rock and roll bar next door which was full of obnoxious peps getting bombed and going crazy.
The H jersey is Honduras, which is a very important country to me. My tech team is based out of this country and also a few other key long term members who are critical. If I hit my benchmarks, I really need to get to Hondo for a few weeks to get some face to face time in and enjoy the awesome party and nature on the North Coast.
Had the table and backroom to myself.
This is a baleada, a Honduran handheld snack of awesomeness. The perfect drinking food.
Pumped for tomorrow. Meeting a PG & Cer that I've followed for over a year and have a lot in common. Also plan on getting pretty dammed ripped tomorrow. Its good Im a calm drunk that doesn't do anything stupid, unless Im by myself and chaos can happen, but think Ill be fine tomorrow with my friends.
