Hi guys. Well, I think it has come the time in my poker career where I decide whether I have it or I don't. Have played loads of different games and taken loads of different shots all of them resulting in the same thing! This time I want to do it properly and make it work. A bit about myself. I am a 24 yr old casino dealer living in Australia. I work about 100 hrs a fortnight dealing so have a decent amount of disposable income. This 'shot' started with a $140 deposit and started playing a few MTTs trying to find a game that I liked. Settled on the 45s as I like the pace of the game and so far I have seen there are alot of players making massive mistakes. I have also just discovered I can 2 + 2 from work and will be able to update this whilst being paid to work. ATM I have played a little under 200 tournaments and running at a ROI of 30% (EV around 38%). The reason for starting this post is to motivate myself to put in more time and to try and improve my game by listening to any advice you have. My goal is to move up to the $7s and so on when I have 100BI. I am currently using HEM but think that the stats aren't all that useful as towards the end it becomes push/fold play. During the 5 minute breaks I scower through all my tables and mark anyone I beleive to be a reg based on stats and HH number. I am currently 6 tabling and just reloading when I win/ cash. Would like to increase to possibly 8 or 10 but not to sure how to use Table Ninja. Hopefully will put in a session tonight and will post my graph after that.

GL GL. I've been thinking of doing challange myself, not sure yet. I like 45s a lot, but results were not so great, so i switched over 18-man's, used to pay 9-mans, but now there are so much regs..anyway,
GL, hope to see some interesting hands and graphs soon

So got home after working an 11 and a half hour shift and didn't really feel like playing, but after starting the thread at work today it motivated me to get in there. Played well, no real dramas. Unfortunately only 1 3rd place which isn't quite a profitable session. Had to 9th place finishes and one 10th or 11th in which I got A6s in against A5s and he made a flush. Just downloading Sit & Go Wizard at the moment and going to take a look at it tonight before I go to bed. I am somewhat skeptical as to how much this will help me.......will give anything a go once. Also I know its not a large enough sample but thought I would post my graph to get things rolling!

Can someone PM me telling me how to post my graph? Cheers!

Right mouse click on graph in HEM, save it as .jpg or .png and go to tinypic.com. Select your image and press 'Upload Now'. Copy the 2nd URL [IMG Code for Forums] in your message on 2+2 and there it is!

Will probably see you at the tables cause I'm playing the 45s too. I can really advice getting SNGWiz, just plugging and tweaking with ranges will give you great insight to improve your game.
Good luck!

Gt home from work tonight and started running 8 tables. After a few reloads I had started a total of 12. 8 tabling was fine and I felt really comfortable and in control so I am considering moving it up to 9 or 10. Not sure why poker players always seem to run an even amount of tables???? Anyways, at the end of the session I had hit 2 X 3rd, 1 X 4th, 1 X 5th and 1 X 6th. Just trying to review my session now with S&G Wizard and not really sure exactly what I am looking for what I am supposed to do???? I have imported my hand history and can see hands were it either disagrees or agrees with my action. What I don't get is were the ranges are coming from? Does S&G Wizard automatically import data on players or do I need to alter each individual player? Anyhow its only early so I might start another 8 and see how I go. Also just an interesting hand 3 handed. not sure if i ever really played wrong or not???? Thoughts and help with S&G Wizard please???????

gl buddy i started on 45mans and have now switched to 180s,
btw would u mind helping me with something on HEM?
What hand histories do u import? Cause the ones I import only let me see the end winnings, not all in ev results thanks.

Just a standard import as far as I know. From what i have heard the EV line is done by some massively complicated calculation. I've been told its not 100% accurate with MTT's though but can definitely help! GL bro

Been a few days so I thought I would repost. I am not sure where I was up on the last post so I am going to post numbers now so I know where we are at.

Felt comfortable playing 8 tables so thought I would try and amp it up to 10. It was fine in early stages but when I was on 5 FT at the same time it got a bit hectic (a problem I wasn't to concerned with). So now I am back playing 8 and just reloading when I get knocked out. Actually managed a 20 tournament session which is a pretty good effort for me. Results were 1 X 1st, 3 X 4th and a 6th. Once I start hitting final tables I seem to lose focus on reloading tournaments. I really need to start improving my volume but unfortunately work has been very hectic this week and not helping the situation. Have a RDO tomorrow so as long as I am not called in to work I will try and play 2 sets of 25 for the day. Problem being in Australia is the peak is around 4 or 5 AM and I have work at midday the next day. Anyways everything is going well just grinding it out. Got a $10 bonus release which helped spike the BR up a little bit. Looking into getting a coach but not sure it is viable ATM. Is it worth spending money to try and improve on 25% return? Would love to know what you think. Plan is to try and hit 1k tournaments within the next couple of weeks. Hopefully by then I will have a big enough roll to play the 7s, play a few hundred and then re-analyze where I am at at the new stake.Any thoughts on BR management for these turbos? What I should have before moving up?

    Hey,what's your screenname? I'm grinding $3.50s and $7s atm.

About moving up,I'd recommend you to maybe mix in a few $7s into your $3.50 sessions, this might make you feel more comfortable with the higher buy ins and harder opposition.
$7s definitely have less random fishes,it's harder to get paid out.
The skill level of the regs is about the same.

About bankrollmanagement,I'm not sure since I'm not playing on my own roll (staking+coaching deal) but I guess 100 buy ins should be alright if you are able to move down in stakes quick enough if needed.

Well it definitely hasn't been a good day for me. Found I was reloading tables at a rate I really didn't like. The first 10 tournaments were gone so quickly it was gross. I just kept trying and pushing through it. It got to a stage where I felt I may have been tilting so I stopped adding. I guess I was due a downswing. Going to go and search for some food and then do another session. Hopefully get the roll back over $450. After today's session I feel like maybe I should do the full 1k tournaments at this level and then decide about moving up. I haven't reviewed the session yet and I am going to just quickly post some of my favorite ways to get knocked out from that last session. There was a few great ones. Anyways hopefully I will run better. Terrier is a RL friend and is probably going to post some stuff here as well. Really great player but I think there should be a prop bet in regards to who does better over 1k tournies??????

Haven't really been able to put in any decent volume atm. Working more then full time can be a real pain in the ass, and the fact that I'm pulling $35 p/hr which I can't do here makes it to enticing. Still, once I'm at the $7s it will become more lucrative and I might start playing some massive sessions!!! Nothing really interesting to report. Found some interesting final table moves and noted a few more regs. Have quite a list now. I think its massively helpful because when it comes to final table time I can call in SB or BB if I am shoved on by one of these regs. I don't think a casual player would be as agressive as a reg and I think a reg is to have studied S&G Wizard????? Thoughts????? Anyhow its all going good so I just got to keep grinding away at it and eventually I will hit the $7s!!!!!!
                  PEACE OUT!!!!

                  DOWNSWING!!!!!
                  Tournaments: 357
                  ROI: 21.0%
                  BR:$452.70

Yeah not really alot to say there! Numbers kinda say it all. I guess I was due a loosing session and here it is. Still made 1 X 3rd and 2 X 6th and FTed another 3 times but bubbled. Just couldn't get a hand when I ran deep or lost coin flips and over pairs a couple of times for full stacks. Don't think I made to many mistakes but maybe the rungood ego got in the way a little bit. Regardless there is still tomorrow. Seeem to not be needed at work so much so hopefully will hit 1k tournies really quickly. Gonna post my graph even though it makes me sad!!

Morning 2+2. Its been a while since i updated so thought I had better. After the last post and the downswing which came with it, I have really been trying to put in as much volume as possible to bring it back up. Unfortunately for about the next 20 hand I just could no hit and I remember from 1 session running 32 tournaments and dropping 19 Bis. Since then it has come back again massively. I have been putting in good volume (for someone working Full Time). I'm still uncertain as to when the best time for me to play is profit wise. At night the traffic is 130k plus and day session for me around 60k. The tournaments reload insanely quick at night and its alot easier to get 10 up and running. Not sure which time has more donks to stack off with JT???? Oh I forgot to post my opening stats.
                  Tournaments: 435
                  ROI: 24.8%
                  BR:$543.79
I have started to play some Micro 6-Max were I don't have the time to do a session of tournaments or when I just don't feel like it. I have never played 6-Max before and its definitely interesting. I find I am so aggressive compared to everyone else at the table. Does anyone know what standard stats r for a Micro 6-Max? Anyways gonnapost my graph and hope it gets better soon!
