Hi, My name is Aggrosquid. I recently turned 18, and have been playing poker for a few years. I made a deposit on my 18th birthday, and all was going swimmingly until i stopped exercising bank roll management and went busto at .25/.50HU tables. In recent times, i've had success grinding cash until I went busto again playing low stakes tourneys. So this leads me here, my intention is to grind to 1k+, eventually to get to 3k so i'm rolled to play .50/1 that i have crushed at my local casino live over a small sample size.

Watched the first of Threads13 DC full ring series and then had a quick grind, finished up $0.83 but I had an interesting spot

Villian is 50/33 with a 3bet of 0 over 18 hands

I would call that pre-flop 4b in position against this villain.....in fact, with his stack I might even shove over the top. Has he shown down any hands in the small sample you have? If so, what sort - strong, random junk? Seems he has played 9 of 18 and raised 6 of 18 so his range could be pretty wide here.

No hands to note on him, I guess funky high cards like KJs and KQs are in his range, they did cross my mind but AA KK QQ JJ TT etc are also there. Problem was because of his odd sized stack it made it rather a push or fold decision, which was hard with such a small sample of hands on him. But yes he is playing a hell of a lot of hands.

Though one of my improvements i'm trying to make to my game is to tighten up preflop as i'm spewing too much IMHO. Maybe playing too nitty?

tried out the zoom poker and finished with a nice profit leaving my bankroll: 32:01 I am looking forward to the HEM update for zoom poker as atm it's off the graph and interesting hands are untracked. I am getting close to my previous deposit bonus' and also a free $10 so hopefully can unlock at least one of those if not both this week.

made a boost to my bankroll to make it 103.58 so I am rolled for 5NL.. well 20BI.. hopefully that means I can make it to 10NL pretty quick through zoom poker and 4 tabling FR 5NL

Good session, ended up in profit even though had to fold QQ on the flop a few times and ran my KK into AA. Can't post giraffes cause I was playing zoom. Gonna 4 table some FR 5NL will post graphs afterwards. In other news, I bought a coffee machine to aid with the poker grind, cost me £15 quid from tesco and worth every penny!

Downswing, tried to put some volume in and just got crushed, stuck 4 BI, was poorly played the rest were just unlucky in my opinion. Raised AA KK QQ JJ AK AQ preflop about 30 times (No exaggeration) And didn't get it in once. Thats poker i guess, Going to grab some food then play some zoom

Same, had a 4 BI loss last night. A combo of wtf suck outs, over playing my better hands looking for a win out of frustration, and general bad play.

Sometimes the more I play the worse I play.

As for Zoom (Rush), that can be great fun but I found was also the quickest way to lose a huge chunk of my roll if my mindset wasn't right.

My problem with Rush is just I seem to get my AA KK QQ JJ AK AQ AJ type hands folded preflop when I raise, it's pretty sick.

Horrible day, couldn't catch a break, got nut straight on the turn called by a set only for a boat to come on the river. Couldn't get called with aces etc and got donked and played not too great for some, but I think i'm running bad in the cooler and people not having hands when i do kinda thing. As for flush draws, I haven't hit one in about 400000k hands. i joke but seriously, It's tilting.

I've dropped back down to 2NL rush to grind the roll to $150 before returning to $5NL

on the plus side, i'm pretty close to unlocking a decent collection of bonus' and the first stellar reward to bump up my dwindling roll. NEED SOME RUN GOOD TOMORROW
