Hey guys!
I'm a 24 year old student from Belgium in Europe. I'm kinda struggling at school, but I've been playing poker since 6-7 years or so, with a lot of ups and downs. So if I ever drop out school, poker is more or less my plan B. Basically I'm already playing "for a living" since my only income is always have been out of poker. I'm living at home with my mom, I pay everything myself (with poker money) except my clothes.
At the moment I have
$1,412.57 in my PokerStars bankroll, and this is the only money I want set aside for poker and thus for making more money/an income/a living.
I will mainly play cashgames (probably Zoom and Regular tables) going from 10-50NL, whatever I feel like, but certainly not higher.
I probably will play some MTTs too, with a maximum buyin of something like 11$ (or something I won a satty of)
I don't really like the whole "grinding SNGs" idea. Don't like to have 100$+ registered in 20 4.5$ 180mans or something like that.. It's probably just me, but I don't like it, even though I know they are quite soft and the fact that I kinda think MTT(SNG) poker is a lot softer than 100bb+ cashgame poker.
At University in Belgium, I'm studying something which has to do with Social Media and stuff like that.. so I kinda like the idea of doing YouTube sessions or videos from time to time, or streaming on Twitch etc... but this is something for the near future!
So:
Bankroll $1,412.57
VPPs this year 14,201.98 (started the end of February)
VPPs this month 11,661.25 (probably my best month ever
)
FPPs in store 11,552
[ ] Get Supernova
[ ] Buy an iPad Mini for 30k~ FPP
(which is quite expensive, so I might go for cold hard cash and buy an iPad Mini in the store)
[ ] Mainly winning months
[ ] Get a 1k+ result in an MTT
[ ] Play 50-125k hands/month
[ ] Put money aside for vacation in July/August/September
The VIP shop in Belgium (Pokerstars.be, not .com/.eu/.FR etc..) looks a little bit different:
I hope this thread will be a success.. Looking forward to having a nice stay here!
Sometimes I will give away some $ to people (or put them into a MTT) who keep the tread alive and comment
