Good Morning PG&C! Almost two weeks in the month and I have been bouncing back and forth between 25nl and 10nl & was fortunate enough yesterday to have a snow day/volume day. I have a ton of hands I could post from the last couple weeks, but, I will just stick to yesterday.
I ran across this spot twice literally within 5 minutes and had to just lol.
11:00 am yesterday morning, I thought "okay, w/e, nh" and moved on.
River:(97 BB, 2 players) Q SB bets 60 BB, Hero raises to 172.8 BB and is all-in, SB calls 112.8 BB
Spoiler:
SB shows A A (Two Pair, Aces and Sevens)
(Pre 82%, Flop 12%, Turn 5%) Hero shows K K (Full House, Kings full of Sevens)
(Pre 18%, Flop 88%, Turn 95%) Hero wins 420.5 BB
2.4 BB was deducted from the pot for the jackpot.
Then there's this one that made me take a break. I even said to myself before I bet river "okay bet/fold river" and I still called his shove. How much bigger a raise can I get away with ott this deep?
Glad to see you've made it up to 25nl on one of the toughest sites man. I remember when we were just 2nl scrubs owning all the Russians
Did'em pretty dirty yesterday. That 4% otf coming through for stacks. Not gonna lie, I don't feel {that} bad about it. Shame I had to quit after this hand.
I beat myself to the tune of 9 buy ins yesterday. I need to go back to 2NL if I'm gonna spew like I did yesterday, it was pretty awful. Back to 4 tabling 10NL .
Quick update: well time to face facts now, 25NL is crushing me worse than I thought. Didn't realize I had the whole roll in play this morning lmao! I guess that's one of the effects of not paying attention to results. I will be filtering them out when I get home tonight until the roll grows back to 1k. I haven't cashed in the rakeback points yet this year since they reset so I'll have a decent chunk stashed there. I'll probably just continue to save them up and cash them all in at the end of the year.
Will post Jan/Feb graphs later, as well. Time to own the disaster. Ironically, I'm actually pleased with my play lately with the exception of Feb 24, and confidence is still there. It's just been a learning experience so far in 2019 and a ~25 buy in downswing isn't the end of the world.
So there was a thread in uNL forum questioning whether they're beatable on ACR and I said I would post my graphs broken down by stake. Here they are, as promised.
2NL HU
2NL FR
2NL 6 Max, if you will notice the last 80k hands is where I finally realized I was beating myself.
After an abysmal start to March, I have not looked at my results from the last 3 weeks. I've also not paid much attention to how much volume I've been putting in; I just play when my schedule permits. Since I am now teaching at the gym 7 days a week and working full time + overtime, finding the hours to grind is difficult, but, it's something I will continue to do without compromising the time I want to spend with my wife. She will always be my priority.
March graph incoming tonight. It feels like I made a comeback from the 25nl drubbing I received the first week; I'll find out for certain later.
My Lord, can't believe it's been almost 9 months since I posted in this thread.
Update:
1. I lost ~$425 in 2019 playing online, still had an lol positive WR of .15bb/100 over ~115k hands though.
2. My wife and I bought our first house.
3. I got a $10k/year promotion in November.
4. My wife and I were blessed to be able to bring Billy Blanks to our home town for the first time ever. The weekend he taught was phenomenal, inspirational, motivational and we got positive feedback from everyone who was able to attend.
Happy New Year, hope all is well and looking forward to a fantastic 2020! Best days are ahead for sure!
Well this thread's pretty dusty and I don't know where else to put this pic, so here it is.
19k hands since Saturday mostly at 10NL zoom, (~7k today show below from yesterday) and I still missed the lowest tier of the beast and an extra $50 by 100 points, LMAO!! I needed another hour.
Living in nit land. V w/ that 1% 3b pre and against anyone else I probably win 100BB's.
