I'm a break even 25NL Zoom player so far.
I spew Horrendously and continuously
I've made money from poker. but its not been much and its almost exclusively from donkaments.

I'm just going to keep track of things weekly here. Maybe post a few more hands in the micro stakes forum

All in all, I wasn't too happy with my play today. A good couple of spots i felt like i spewed and as i said earlier i've been a little bit of a station.

Really good session today. Played awesome and didn't slip up much at all.
Had to withdraw 500$ of my roll this weekend for a new road bike.

Very nice, you are crushing zoom. What's your bb/100 in that sample?

lol I tilted today. made HORRIBLE plays and calls one after another and got lucky to only lose 4.5buyins. Looks like i can't go back on again until i'm in the right mind frame because today was a self inflicted downswing.

Read through the first couple pages of the poker mind set yesterday and went back on with a different attitude to the game. I think I generally made good decisions both yesterday and today.

    and 20k hands:

This pot really hurt, not used to being uncomfortable playing KK. not used to flatting OOP in such a big pot either. just thought i would keep the little spew, QQ, AK in his possible range (although with that 4 bet size i really didn't think it was anything but KK+ with how deep we where and his stats.

there are very few occasions where i would fold an over pair on such a dry board. maybe this was a spot though.

thanks, hopefully it goes well i have a lot to learn

Got a few goals to set for this year:

      [ ]spend 25 hours a week 4 tabling zoom
[ ]add two juicy 25NL 6max tables in to the grind
      [ ]Reach 50 NL
[ ]5 hours a week reading and learning about poker
[ ]12 hours a week training for sprint triathlon in August
      [ ]bulk to 190lb's (currently 172 from 168 2months ago)

Going to find the last one the hardest for two reasons:
I'll be training aerobically a lot and burning off a lot of calories.
I do find it difficult to eat as much as I need to gain weight.

      Good stuff so far.

KK hand Im just guna go ahead and 4 bet pre.

I think we can take out any Jx out of his hand and i very much doubt he is raising 22/77 here. Possible hands are now AK/QQ/JJ/KK/AA. Its going to be unlikely he has KK and again unlikely he has AK aswell considering we had 2 of the K's

So now his range only consists of QQ/JJ/AA.

When he continues the turn he range becomes more polarized. Im definitely finding a fold maybe on the turn but definitely on the river.

Do you mean 5 bet? its an idea but i think this player is only ever stacking with KK+ 300 deep. I also don't think hes 4 bet bluffing that big very often and i'm not turning kings in to a bluff by 5bet/folding.
I think you are right about the fold on the river when I looked over the hand again. Probably a little weak to fold turn.

      42k hands @ 5bb/100.
I still spew a lot. but its becoming less frequent.

Just broke the 30second barrier for my 50m freestyle yesterday when training in my last session.
Racing a friend from college next month when we go to Lanzarote. He is part of the regional squad and has competed in a few internationals so i'm looking forward to that. Don't expect to beat him but I expect to train as hard as I can to get as close to it as possible .

thats fine. i didn't tilt and was happy about that.

came back on today and was up 3 buyins untill this hand.... (didn't save in HH so i cant put it in converter)

      HERO(32$ utg): 77
      VILLAN (31$ btn) : xx

      hero: raise to 75c
      villian: reraise to 1.50
      hero: calls

      flop 722

      hero checks
      villian: bets 1.25
      hero: calls

      7 turn

      hero checks
      villian: bets 2.75
      hero: reraises to 7.75

i've sent the player an email concerning the hand and asked him to reimburse me my loses and the subsequent stack i should have taken from him.

luck is not allowed to be that crewel.
