Hello guys!

I'm going to finish my studies at the end of June. I'm 23, so life is going to start kicking my ass. First plan was to run my own business but central-eastern Europe market is basically ****ed...
As you can see, there is no other way but to start playing as high as my knowledge and experience let me.

I've been playing poker for 3 years moving up from FR NL5 till NL400. On December 2011 was so bored and decided to try SH - I loved it.
NL50->NL400 with NL600 shots in two months and then I took a ****** break for 2 months which killed my ability to play mid-high games.

What can you expect?

A lot of updates - will try to do this after every session review - everyday
My opinion about books, movie series or other educational stuff
I'm going to travel a lot with my Canon D550 so a lot of photos and movie reports like this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myNH-wQHV0A

GOALS:

"Work hard play harder"
Become a mid stakes player at the end of August - I mean playing only NL400+ with reasonable BRM.
Keep pressure on self improvement not on grinding. Become a Learner not a Grinder.
Playing at least 40k hands/month on 4-8 tables
Practice my English because this post took my about 30 minutes
Spend winter in Thailand or somewhere in this direction
Make dreams come true.

SKY is the limit for determined person - I hope that is

Im not sure about this hand help me :
    26/21 wts 29 AFq 49/38/25 resteal bb 15 cbet 3bet pot 81/61/89

My fold vs resteal is 62 steal BTN 46 ftcbet 3bet pot 22/34/50

I expect that he can try to barrel my of my middle PP by betting Q & K. That was the intention of calling the flop - that he will be barreling my outs. Also his cbetting T frequency is getting lower.

    What do you think?

Another bad day. Got session review with my friend and saw a lot of mistakes there. I decided to play NL100 and have fun with 10BI roll. 1000$ will play NL100 -> 2000$ will play NL200. This will keep me thinking about all calldowns and other crazy shiet I was doing.

Currently : 1147$ (of course its not all my BR )

This was weird spot and I decided to fold. The villain was 25/20 WTS 28 AFq 42/48/26 3bet 11 bet IP vs missed cbet 70

I decided to call preflop because EP was very tight so keeping both on widen range is best play.
FLOP - I expect that he is betting a lot all Ax,FD,QJ,QT.
TURN- with this sizing I should probably fold. He knows that I have Ax and he is maximizing value. The plan was to call for IO. When backdoor FD comes I donk lead pot.

      Should have folded the turn?

O right we are closer to my limit NL200. I was so desperate to get back on NL200 that I played almost perfectly on NL100. Another 5BI and I'm back!

          NL100 From what I observed :

          - People are playing straight forward. (cbet/give up)
          - They 3bet quite good but can't adapt to light 4bet.
          - Bluffing Rivers is not profitable because they call to much.
          - I saw maybe 3 regs who thin value bet rivers the rest have air/nuts.
          - NEVER bet/call R without the nuts ; )
          - Remember about opening range when MSS is at the table.
          - And for god sake DO THE TABLE SELECTION! I'm changing my tables like 10-15 times per session ~2h
          - There is a difference between NL100 and NL200

To sum up I'm sure that every one from this forum is capable of beating this stake. Just dont bluff and value value value bet more. Thin value betting is boosting your winrate because they call everything!

          Currently : 1460$

And huh I would forgot ... I saw THE WORST PLAYED HAND EVER !

O right It's time to make some update.

I played like 3k hands for last two days and another 4BI in my account - another 34BI and i will be break even this month ;D,
Nothing special happened, NL100 is pretty simple game. Just ABC as I wrote and sometimes just good river calls/folds.

I've started beliving in myself again. As I suppose everyone goes through the DS with the same scenario :

DS started -> stop playing A game -> start undermining your skills -> learn more -> going back to A game -> start winning -> start believing in skills again.

It happens to me at least once per year, so It's good to know that this scenario always works.

Yesterday I took some sick blisters? I don't know if I used the correct word. My friend gave me www.lifewave.com. I was very skeptical but I think IT WORKS. I glued it about 8pm and at 6am I was focused as hell and looked like :

              Currently 1.840$

              1,5BI and welcome back NL200!

As a micro stakes player it makes me laugh that you think that 100nl players still call down way too light and its just about value betting to beat the stake, makes me think how easy micros would be for the 200nl regs and how bad all the regs are at my level.

              Best of luck.

O right we're moving up! I just had to punish myself for spazzy games on NL200+ and playing NL100 with basics was best for this.

Tomorrow 400km road for some business reason and then after taking a nap I'll play all night

Like DrGiggy says SIZING DOES MATTER!
This is the way you make the best players on your limits fold better hand. Just choose the right "value looking" bets for ex. with "9" at the end ; )
You have to be very sure about player you are making bet against.

That was just my last session. Keep in mind that playing with regs is just building variance. TILT CYCLE (from Easy Game vol.2 ) :

                      -> BAD TABLE SELECTION ->
                      DDDDMORE TILT DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD LOWER WINRATE

Im still reading Easy Game 3rd Edition from time to time. I read it like 3 times and keep looking back. Imo this book lets avarage player become more creative and understood poker other way.
One of my student from NL50-100 sad sth like:

,,Yeah, I read this one, nothing new I've already knew everything"

                      And I sad:

"You have 5-15sec for online decision and you have to do x/shove for 75bb on the R as bluff. In this time you have to analyze the whole range street by street and make a correct decision. Do you still think you are able to use this whole knowledge correctly?"

If you understand some concepts that's fine but you must remember that you are playing under the pressure of time. Everyone snapcalled some **** and then just after think about it...

                      Today some bluffs:

When I cbet that large I thought "hmmm that was a mistake because of leverage point I can definately bet lower" But then some brilliant idea come up with my mind. I'm creating wonderfull agressive dead money to kick him off on every J+ card. He is calling one bet with every PP. Still not sure about this idea ...

This is nice example of leverage. His calling range is so weak that he is never able to call the R. I should have definately bet higher on the T but despite of this I really like my shove R on this board structure:

I really like this hand also. I call the flop because of the fish behind. Call the T is pretty simple as long as i can represent FH + 7x + 86 + AhKh on the R. If he checks he is never ever x/c with some TT-QQ.

I had two days break. My friend rents a flat and I helped him with some furniture.
I can say one thing. I HATE IKEA!!! We set one foockin wardrobe two days! It's sick how complicated it can be.

There were some adventages also. We got drunk and watched gran derbi. I'm not a huge fan of football, but really like to watch this two teams fighting at the top football level (maybe not last match ). And being drunk during my friends fighting like an angry birds is FUN!

Im on a good path to break even this month. Still sth like 5-8BI left. Playing abnormal lines for best regs is what I need to do now!
