EPTPE is the Eightfold Path To Poker Enlightenment. It's a good series by Tommy Angelo, but it's mostly for live cash players. Jared Tendler's work is much more scientific than Tommy Angelo's, but they complement each other fairly well.

A balanced happy life style whilst eating well and exercising regularly is all you need.

Get up early and plan your poker day with breaks and exercise and stick to it.

Just playing a lot of poker and doing very little else is really only going to end one way ... and yet so many do exactly this.

efptpe is good for any player - "the poker mindset" by matthew hilger is worth a look too..

Only finished the 6,000 hand session up $13.49 (+ a $10 VIP stellar reward), but better than a loss!

I kinda didn't like when the river paired the board, but the way he played the hand I was certain he had a big pair so that's why I shoved rather than checking back.

I mark hands for review whilst I'm playing in PT4 (can do the same in HEM) and go over them the next day right before I play another session. That way I can start thinking about my play and improve hand reading etc and get into the right mindset before I sit down at the tables. Might help you to give it a try.

Thanks! I think that'd be a good idea for me... I always find it difficult to play my A game especially at the start of a session, so it'll probably help if I do some reviews before I play to get my brain working properly

It might also help if I gradually add tables during the session instead of starting with like 6 or 12 tables (Doing 12 tables pretty often at NL10).. I should probably start with 2, then after 15 mins, move to 4, another 15 mins move to 8 and then after another 15 mins move up to 12... Just so my brain isn't getting overwhelmed by all the hands when it's not in A game mode yet..

So I have my last exam tomorrow! Not going to be playing in the evening though because I've not had much sleep the last few days because of late nights studying and early mornings the last couple of days..

From Wednesday onwards though, I plan to get back to the grind.. My goal is to get another 40k hands done before the end of the month, so I'll need to average 4,444 per day, which I think is easily doable provided I don't have lots of runbad and not feel like playing :P

I also achieved Gold Star now and my next VIP Stellar Reward is a $50 reward so hopefully by the end of the month I'll have got that reward and also got enough FPP's for a $25 cash credit (I keep ending up spending all my FPP's on MTT satellites though!)

Also, once I grind my bankroll back up to $500 and am playing NL25 again, I'm going to enter the $55 Women's Sunday MTT one time to see how I do (Maybe I can try satellite in too.. Or buy entry with FPP's)


Edit: I just looked at the price for the Women's Sunday ticket from the FPP store, and it's only 3,500, so rather than spending 2,250 FPP's on a $25 credit I'll probably save them a little longer and buy a ticket instead..

Maybe if I can get back to NL25 quickly enough and it goes well, I can just not bother with the whole job thing... But not counting on it happening!

3) Go outside your house, yell I want bigger boobs, and see what happens. Some guy is bound to help out.

I think the bigger the implants the more expensive they are... But it's not like i want huge ones... Just like a normal but maybe slightly above average size...

When I was playing NL25 I'd mainly 6 table, but since moving down to NL10 I've been 12 tabling... And the length of the sessions vary.... Maybe 5 - 6 hours with short breaks on average..

I didn't mean to imply you weren't capable, I'm saying there's an easier way to go about this. And while I don't need men (or a person of any gender) to buy me stuff either, if someone wants to...
