As the title states i plan on following a very strict diet and training schedule to get ripped while making money playing anything for .5-1 to 2-4 depending on what games are running.

Play winning poker and improve my online game by posting hands
Workout every day and track my progress while maybe helping some people along the way
Eat healthy and share recipes and meal ideas
Average 1000 hands a day and two workouts while going to work and eating healthy

Plan on talking poker , working out and eating healthy

Use Vega supplement in the morning and post workout and glut-amine to recover and just bought muscle pharm assault for creatine which ive never tried been taking the vega for the last year and love it .




This will be my routine for most days

Schedule
6am wake up - Have vega whole food optimizer
615am - arrive at gym for 630 spin class do daily weigh in
630 - spin class and steam after
8am -arrive at work and have vega post work out protein
12pm - salad bar lunch
2pm -Go to gym for weights and steam
330pm -play a session
6pm -make dinner
630pm - eat and review session
730pm -play second session
1030pm -bed time

Quick update

Been following my schedule as planned and have done two workouts per day while eating clean and have played 7000 hands so far , went on a 3400 dollar downswing and am currently back to even winning a 30 dollar tournament for 900 and running better at pokers . It was crazy on that down swing I was a loser when I filtered , over pairs , top pair top kicker , and sets on the flop.

Was probably a little rusty in the beginning but feel like i'm playing the best poker of my life , its amazing how much eating good and working out can clear your mind and make the ****ty days at poker not seem as bad. I remember the old days when I would refuse to workout If I was losing , eat garbage and not have any balance . Those days are long gone and I feel like i'm headed in the right direction.

Going to do a session with a personal trainer at 6 tonight , its crazy how much adding the glutamine to my pre and post workout drinks has helped with soreness.

Also watched a crazy documentary about food and i recommend everyone to check it out.

Still winning , its amazing how easy my downswing was to fight through do to having such a clear mental space and having so many other positive things going on.

The session with the trainer was super tough yesterday we started off by doing a good warm up followed by 3 sets of the following with no rest after each exercise.

1) walking lunges with 25lb plate over head , 30 out , 30 back , 30 out
2) 30 kettle bell swings with a 30lb
3) 20 pushups on swiss ball
4) 20 toe touches while on back with legs straight up in air
5) 20 squat jumps
6) bench press on swiss ball with 30 lb dumb bell one arm at a time

roughly 5 minute rest after each set I was bagged

Then did a super set of 3 different shoulder exercises back to back to back times 3.

The steam never felt so good

Had a crazy weekend of poker played 2500 hands on Friday and lost 2200 ev adjusted up 3000 , pretty crazy difference. I read "let there be range " and i must say I have never really enjoyed a single poker book but this actually blew me away. I'm gonna re-read it a couple times as there is lots of valuable stuff. Was fooling around with lots of river bluffs and it really is crazy how much people fold. Another concept he talks about is flatting qq and aq in the blinds and I also found it to be quite successful. Obviously I ran super bad but I dont care about results as long as i'm playing good.

Sunday was a much better day winning back 1800 over 2000 hands . I'm going to stop posting hands etc until I get some feedback on this thread as not many people are reading it I don't think.

Gym has been going great and i've had no problems with being sore or tired or anything ,which is surprising given the fact that im doing 2 workouts a day most of the time. i'm waking up naturally with out feeling groggy and falling asleep right away .

Well it has officially been two weeks since I started and I'm feeling great about how everything is going . My routine is awesome and I feel like I have more energy than I have every had In my life. My work ethic is awesome right now I have the drive to work out and put in the hands win or lose. Something ive been very proud of.

I'm up 2200 over roughly 15000 hands which is great since I started on a 16 buy in downswing as for the gym my workouts are getting much easier and Im recovering faster than ever before , although my eating seems super boring ( which it is ) I have zero cravings for steak , sugar , breads junk etc etc . You truly are what you eat and if you fuel your body with the foods the way you can feel is amazing .

I know it sounds crazy but this is what I look forward to most in my day. Romaine , Mixed greens , Kale , Marinated veggies consisting of lots of broccoli , cauliflower , carrots , peppers , One full avocado , banana peppers , sprouted bean mix , chickpeas , beets , feta cheese , parsley , sunflower seeds a tiny splash of balsamic ( there is a little bit of dressing from the marinated veggies and a squirt of hot sauce.

The way your body works is you either eat until your tank is full ie filling it with zero nutrient foods like bread , pizza , fries , onion rings , burgers etc etc or you eat a salad like that and your body get all the nutrients it needs and actually tells your brain, " i have enough nutrients i'm full . "

Figured I post a couple hands , even though no one has responded any questions or comments shoot . Its amazing how much more money im winning since my redline has improved I used to be a stack the fish kind of guy and now Im playing like animal , fooling around with lots of check raises , and barreling when I think my opponents are weak its been a fun learning process.

Nice thread, I admire your work ethic. Keep posting and the viewers/commentators/subscribers will come. Post lots of graphs and your thread will be swamped before you know it

You should like you've got exactly the right attitude to be successful; feeling full of energy should give you the mental strength to deal with variance and the other negative aspects of poker. Good luck.
