Solid day again today. Was very very frustrating the first like 1400 hands. Took a break at like 950 hands right before that spike, and then damn near quit at @1350 (little circle). Yay for sacking up cuz the games were stupid good. The graph is a little off from hands that were missed, but I asked for them from party and should have it accurate tomorrow.

In the total graph here, its pretty amazing how big a difference it is when I play well. I started out playing nice, and then started playing like dog ****, and am playing nice again. I absolutely slaughter this game when I play well. No, its not variance, though I am running very well

I dont know the word I am looking for here, its not jealousy, but I am ashamed that my roommate is playing so much higher than me and no offense to him hes an excellent player, but I see nothing mind blowing about his game and think I should be there too. Being around other players, even though I am not being very social with my housemates, is making me want to have as much or more success as/than them.

thanks man. Its a number of things. Theres not much I want to say to anybody and theres not much I really want to hear from people. My mind doesnt keep up with conversation well, its just too slow now. It makes it really hard to be funny/witty and talk **** which is where like 95% of my pleasure came from in conversation. Plus I look at things from like 13 different angles and am never sure where I should be coming from, and want to break it all down and instead of getting a clear message/thought through its just this jumble of this or that this or that blah blah blah blah blaaah. Also when someone asks me to explain what I mean or why im laughing at some situation, it just seems to me that its so obvious that i dont want to and then try and its all tangles or I just look at them and start and then stop and shake my head lol. Basically I dont care much at all for smalltalk these days and my head is a jumbled mess.

I've been less social this last ~5 months since BF hit and besides 2 of my good friends and my immediate family (mother/father), any convo i get into with anyone just is awkward (because of reasons you stated), I become disinterested, or both.

But that's with being around "normal" people, when I lived out in LV I was usually always chatty but there wasn't anything serial ever going on in our convos, just BBV type ****

Regarding how social you've been lately, I've found that I've changed a lot in the past year too since I started playing professionally.

I just really find it hard to talk to people the way that I used to. :\ It's a lot of effort to try to keep up a conversation these days cause I get bored easily too, or I just think "I could be grinding at this time instead of wasting time talking to you..."

did you ever get looked at for that shrooming incident?

how are you mentally iyo? I mean if your fine with not being social there's no problem with it at all, but if not then you need to look into it or find people who you can relate to you, ect.

no, still have not. Well there is a difference between being introverted and generally shying away from people and then being where I am. I dont need a ton of human contact, but I need more than I get.

What? I was under the impression I was quite normal.

Maybe 3-10 months from now depending on legalization/my roll/if I want to be near home for a while, but for now, purely online.



Today was a bitch, got off the blocks nice but then was just forced to bite the curb. I dont think I played all that great, but not nearly as miserable as the results show. Definitely made some questionable plays/calls though.

Gimme have you considered going out on the town with your roommates? Maybe going out on a date? I feel like you need something to let your mind escape for a moment. It's hard remembering to be human sometimes imo. Dan and I have had times where we forget how to be married and normal, if there is such a thing.
