Yeah that certainly does make things more complicated. But yeah I'm with you in that I'm also just trying to pick up patterns and generalities I could actually employ in game as opposed to getting caught up in the minute details.

The other thing I've started to do which adds even more time is how different stack depths affect things. So far from what I've seen it seems the deeper the stacks the more passive lines you take.

I'm also trying to get better at sizing in deep stack plays. So tough since sizing doesn't always change linearly with stack size (preflop 3b sizing actually sizes down after 200bb+, like a bell curve)

There seems to be a sweet spot in terms of stack depth for many of the hand classes.

I think it's more tilting bubbling the FT than bubbling the actual tourney because you're so close to the higher pay outs.
