Flop seems standard vs the range bet particularly holding the 9.

Turn is where I got suspicious. He should be checking back a lot as I have way more flushes w/ the A and K of spades out there and holding the 9 in my hand. And AA, KK, AK, 44, 66 and Ax either bet like half pot or smaller or check back so his turn bet to me I think is very polarized to only flushes like QJ stuff or air.

River changes nothing and now he pots.
So far from what I've seen villain's who have very strong hands vs a villain who has called 2 big bets OOP now get greedy and will over bet large or even just shove w/ all their boats here.

And flushes will be scared and bet like 1/3 or half pot here and all his Ax is checking back and AK is betting smaller it's not potting here.

So his bet size basically fits no hands imo so my hand seems like an easy call here.

Anyways that's how I thought about this spot, not sure if it's totally wrong or not but that's my gut instinct here.

You are busting the fish and making their player pool smaller thus reducing the rake they take in.

But so far the fish are busting me.

On a different note, this series is going to be great value. Best of the year outside of the WSOP I think. Likely going to play the $1100 $5m gtd. Though the schedule is weird. You have to come back like a week later for the final day.

Would like to play the $10k $40m gtd but have to see my schedule as likely can't play both due to time. Would also want to sell action for the $10k which I don't think I'd get any so a moot point. But man it looks good, a 7 day tourney. It's like a second ME for the year.

As much as I'd love to just spend the month there and play all the small ones I'll see what I can get the wife to agree to.
