Fun session. Shortly after getting 2 outted I have 44 on 4 5 6 vs 66.

Somehow I'm break even on the night so far.

Took a shot at $500NL. Went well, doubled up within the hour. It's the first level where I notice the game plays noticeably tighter. Like 200nl is still very splashy.

Not sure if it was just my table though. I guess I'll see the more I start working it in.

Christmas sessuon going well. I feel like my confidence has increased a lot. I've noticed that regardless of the cooler or beat I run into now it doesn't even phase me like it used too.

My BR just continues to climb regardless and I think I'm just putting faith into my play to carry me through any bumps.

Years prior I would've tilted off 5 or 6 buy ins like after that KK vs 66 hand. This time it was nothing. I made it back in like 30 min.

Had some gross ones today already but still climbing.

Man I can never hit anything. One King that's all I ask for.
This seems like a bad card to bluff. You should check 24 hours later in the hand history to see what he folded. There's a good chance that he has something like KQ and you were ahead. I don't know just doesn't seem like a spot where anyone is going to fold any kind of pair. But you won and if you're winning go ahead and keep on doing what you're doing. But check the hand history to see what he had please.

This just has to be a bad call that worked out. Definitely not a GTO call. You block flush draws and you block turned straight draws. The Kd is the worst card to be holding to make this hero call. Also I don't think you should be calling preflop to the first raise and don't think you should be calling a 3bet. Very ambitious. Congrats though.

Good points Rick, thanks for the feedback. In that hand villain had AT.

Regarding the K2 hand I agree regarding the blockers, in the moment my reasoning was he had clubs or nothing. And actually T9 was one of the hands in my mind I thought he could play this way. I thought it was close to 50/50 so I opted for the call. Yeah definitely loose PF, but that table I was trying to see flops IP vs a lot of the players. Not my standard PF play.

I saw the hand where I 4bet AQo and got 5 bet, the guy had AA.

It's interesting going through the hands and seeing what people are folding/calling.

Like I see people folding AJo in the sb to a button open.
And a guy folded A7s on the button to a CO open. And I'm also seeing people open folding 55.
On the other side people really like to 3bet w/ 65s like almost 100%.

Some more hands:
Hero is button w/ $396.40 and A9
Villain is HJ w/ $256.70 and has JJ

PF:
Villain opens to $6, CO calls, Hero calls, SB calls, bb folds

Flop($26): 4 5 3
SB checks, Villain bets $12.35, CO folds, Hero calls, sb folds

Turn($50.70): 7
Villain checks, Hero bets $24.09, Villain folds.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Hero is LJ with $363.35 and AK
Villain is CO with $222 and AK

PF:
Hero opens to $5, Villain 3bets to $15, Button fold AQo btw, blinds fold,
Hero makes it $65, Villain calls

Flop($133): T 3 Q
Hero bets $96.75, Villain folds
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Hero is Button w/ $243 and has 64
Villain is LJ w/ $228.56 and has KJ

PF:
Villain opens to $6, hero calls, rest fold

Flop($15): T 4 J

Turn($29.26): 9

I fall into that trap on ignition frequently when it's a fishy table. Eventually I look at my session starts and I'm planning 50/15 or something. I hate complaining about preflop but I think that's a bad spot

Yeah, I get it. But I'm not playing anywhere near that loose. I think I'm managing my frequncies pretty well. My rng helps out a lot.

I just post the hands that had results to turn or river.

It'd be boring to post all the times I open folded 86s or folded K4s to a raise.

I'd definitely be losing if I played that loose across the board. Because I have in the past.

The AK hand in the above post that never went to flop.
Action went, folded to sb who opens to $6, Hero 3 bets AK from bb to $24,
Villain 4 bets to $40, Hero 5 bets to $120, and villain folds. Curious to see what he had later.

Hero is SB w/ $220.92 and A K
Villain is LJ w/ $200

PF
Villain opens to $6, folds to hero who 3 bets to $24, villain calls

Flop($50): 6 K 7
Hero bets $18, villain calls

Turn($86): 2
Hero bets $41.50, Villain calls

River($169): 3
Hero bets $116.50(rest of villain's stack), Villain calls and shows
Q Q

He should really be folding the turn, but definitely the river. Probably the worst bluff catcher to have as he blocks AQ which is maybe the only hand I can show up with here as a bluff. I'm playing AA, AK and KQ all this line. TT-KK I'm checking turn and river.
-------------------------------------------------------
Hero is SB w/ $331.59 and has AK
Villain is button w/ $544.84

PF:
Villain opens to $4, Hero 3bets to $22, Villain calls

Flop($46): 2 J 2

Turn($84): 2
Hero bets $40, Villain folds

This hand was funny. He trapped me good.

Hero is SB w/ $191.05 and 8 9
Villain is bb w/ $63.60

PF:
CO limps, Hero completes SB, BB checks

Flop($6): K 8 4
Hero checks, BB bets $2.85, fold, hero calls

Turn($11.70): 9
Hero checks, BB bets $16.13, hero calls

River($43.96): Q
Hero checks, Villain bets $16.13, hero calls

Villain wins and shows KK amazing.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Interesting seeing this one after the hole cards are revealed.
Hero is BB w/ $200, and has A K
Villains are SB w/ $514.26 who has T T
CO has $157.27 and has A K

PF:
CO opens to $8, SB calls, Hero 3 bets to $36, and both fold. This is probably
the craziest hand I've seen out of all my HHs so far. If I had a HUD and filtered for AK, I think I'd be up quite a bit.
