On top of every time I have a set and they have a flush draw they get there and the board never pairs and then when I'm the one w/ a flush or a straight it pairs every single time. Bad combo.

That's fast fold poker for you lol. Not really worth it imo unless you're just practicing and aren't necessarily trying to win, are trying to grind out rewards and/or are just completely numb to the swings, because they can be gnarly. I remember GazzyB once saying that an 8bi loss at zoom is just a normal start to the day (which he may have exaggerated a bit for comedic effect but the general idea is true at least)

As I'm sure you can probably tell if you've put in a bit of volume in the 25b pool, most players there are pretty bad (even many players one might consider to be regs are breakeven at best, and even those with high spots on the beast leaderboard aren't necessarily all that good either), but there are few spewy whales. The actual fish are mostly players who understand basic stuff like rough opening and IP/SB 3bet ranges and good hands to cbet flops with, so they're not going to be bleeding all over the place. The edges are gonna be pretty small relative to a pool where there are a lot of really bad players

But I agree with taking a break. Seems like you've been running pretty bad for sure, but focusing on how unlucky you are doesn't do anything to help you. Take a break, a few days to focus on your personal life or things you enjoy, then do extra studying and review to make sure you're not unnecessarily spewing, then get back into it

You seem solid technically for sure imo, but mental game is super important. It was something I neglected for a long time (and mine was probably way worse than yours), and my results improved a ton once it became a serious focus for me. I also started table selecting super hard and avoiding putting most of my volume in fast fold formats. Maintaining a higher winrate can also go a long way to help mental game since you won't have as many swings. Not that you necessarily need to follow that approach to do well, but I think it's at least something to consider if mental game is a challenge for you, at least as present. Best of luck OP
