So i wanted to give a quick update of my challenge. I've been busy like a week (plus some days before June i wont count ), played not too many hands (think like 8k whatever). Anyways, i decided to move up to 5NL at $125 instead of $150, got kinda sick of playing 2NL and i just felt the urge to move up and adjust to 5NL play. My stats are quite a bit thighter although i dont feel like i play that way. I think its because less people limp and more people raise in late position, which gives me less oppertunity to steal from the button. I was 25/22 over 40k at 2nl and now 19/18 at 5nl over 6k hands. Been doing well, roll at $150 now, looking forward to grinding in the future, i already got a dc trial and stuff, although the vids recommended haven't been that refreshing. Ah well, we'll see.

Cliffs:
[X] Roll at $150 (+$50 since challenge)
[X] 8k hands last week
[X] Moved up
[X] Been called aggro fish becuz my stats "sucked"
[X] 50 hand sample from villain
[X] LOL
[X] He was american

PS: Going to write a little strat something at the blog, maybe helpful for starters, whatever.

because or goals are so similar, we could maybe keep in contact to see how we are getting on, because this group is gettin big and our goal is basically identical.

Wat games/stakes/formats do u play? Playing style? Site?

Yeah sounds like a good idea, I play cash games, .10/.25 6max NL, on Pokerstars. Playing style, 25/16, working on 3 betting more and playing more aggressive post flop. Ran hotter than the sun on the weekend, did not take a beat in any meaningful pot, so my roll is up to $640 now. I'll fire you a PM.

I'm down but not out. Lost a little bit, slowly grinding it back up. Have about $66 from a starting roll of $80.

I think the best way (at least complicated way) of doing this would be for everyone to have individual goals etc. I would record these goals and the culmination of the goals would then constitute the overall goal. The results would then be posted in this thread and or in a blog, with the name of the members and their individual wins/losses, along with the overal result.

Once people have confirmed to be in the group I can create more specific details of the challenge. However, so far the challenge consists of the following details:

1) The start date for the challenge will be Wednesday the 2nd of June 2010.
2) The end date will be the end of August (however, if people can play until the end of September then we can do that instead).
3) Members of the group thus far are:
Myself
Schoolboy
cdeeznizzies
Christophersen (Maybe)
I always find it more motivating and fun to chat your history with other poker players. Plus I think it helps my game. I think it's a good idea. I had $13 in my account on June 3rd after cashing out to pay bills. I started a thread here labeled $61 to 10k on June 9th as I had $61.95 in my account and my goal is to cash out 2k each month starting July 5th and get my bankroll to 10k by the end of the year. Check out my thread as well. Off to a good start! Have now $2,960.87 already after a big hit last night!

started with around $200, have been putting in good volume and running at a decent win rate. Profit of $280 so far, plus an extra $60 odd from rakeback. Made a withdrawal to cover some things, won't be withdrawing anything apart from some of my RB/bonuses from now on. Aim is still to hit $1.5k by end of summer. Current roll stands at $285

we're chilling in skype pretty much every day, it's nice to be able to vent about bad beats and rail each other when someone goes deep in a tourney.

Whoever is up for not looking at their results at all until the end of this month, join me! I think so far even though I just started a few days back, it has really made a difference by helping me focus on the decision, not the outcome and allowed me to put more volume in.
