Gracias mi amigo! Still needs a lot of work. But I plan to enroll in classes in Colombia or hire a private tutor at least. It's coming along quickly though, two weeks ago I knew basically 0 espanol. Now, yo hablo un piquito espanol. I'm really enjoying just walking around and meeting new people and trying to talk to them and practice and learn Spanish. It's a good excuse to stop pretty girls and talk to them on the streets, as well

But yes, let's meet up if we ever end up in the same country at the same time I plan to spend a decent amount of time in Latin America, traveling around, before heading back to estados unidos.

But naw, seriously, so far I have played a 1/1 and a 1/2 nlhe in casinos in costa rica. And a roughly 4/9 usd private game. Then a 2/2/5 PLO game that was juicy AF. And now here in Panama I have played a 2/5 nlhe.

If you really wanted some juicy live games, then Party Millions Uruguay would be the place to go next week. There is a few series that run in that area (Brazil and Chile) with the cash games that go with them.

Imagine if quad binked the party millions Uruguay, From been broke to getting a job at subway to winning the party millions all in the space of a year.

Was just thinking the same thing More feasible as a travel experience, access to cash games, playing side events/satellites of 500$-1k. I would go myself if I did not have a meditation retreat lined up/wasn't hangover from the Aussie Millions

It's not like he's going to play 8+ 10k mtts or whatever his life/poker bankroll is.

If he binks his 1 10k buy-in event he will be rolled to play 10k mtt's. Would be sick and he might be able to put bread on the table by playing more mtt's and higher stakes cash games. He should be able to grind 10k back at the dog track playing 1/2 1/3 if he gets knocked out before the money which is going to happen 80+% of the time playing the cash games since he's a crusher to make up for it.

Plus if he goes on a heater and wins a few mtt's like the main later in the year he will be a superstar and be able to share his story. Not going to happen if you play blackjack or bet on sports or play 5/10 cash or smaller 1k events and even the sats since it's just a big punt.

Subbed. Subwayed! Ive had bankroll blowups myself in the past. Thankfully my vice was sports and not the pits which (in my situation) was harder to punt money as fast.
Think about how good it feels grinding from busto to where you are at now and how depressed you're gonna feel when you bust your roll this time. Maybe you dont care at all. You might lie like you care, to your self and others. Maybe you really dont give a ****. You know you're capable of running it up again. That's how I used to think. For me it took having a kid and really facing and actualizing how sick I was/am to stop degening. Its possible to only play poker, ive done it for years now but it wasnt easy to break the sick behavior. You have to shift from chasing losses to being more competitive then you have ever been, so much so to where it makes you sick to give away money in any -ev spot. If not I guarantee you will be busto again sooner or later. Not trying to be harsh, I just read this over the past few months. Some of the things you say are pretty sick and i think your smart enough to know that. Good luck buddy
