My Situation.
Hi Im 45 at the end of January and its time to start the next chapter of this amazing adventure. Im from London and now live in Berlin with my wife and two sons and I am ready to crush on my way to the TOP.

My Poker Story.
Ive been playing poker online on and off for a few years with out much success always knowing that I could make it some how… but ‘how’ was always a big mystery. Finally with the support of my family I have joined BPC CFP HU Program and look forwards to the challenge of becoming the best person I can be.

Why I want to join CFP.
I have been a forum member of BPC for over a year now and see what they bring to the game. Since the start I have wanted to join the CFP but never had a sufficient bankroll or the blessing of my family. Now I have both and I will relentlessly fight my way to high stakes and reach our goals.

We have decide to set ourselves some adventurous goals ! The first of which is this. I will be in charge of financing the purchase of a seaplane with which me and my family will fly to somewhere like Vancouver or Thailand, find a plot of land build a hut and go spear fishing and live life like a glorious adventure.

I wish I could tell you everything here in my first post, but Id like to get the application process finished as soon as possible! But don’t worry there will be weekly updates and some seriously good stories to tell :-)

Ugg ! Organising Skill and Neteller is slow and painful.

Somehow today feels like not enough happens for me, but I think that’s my problem as I always want things to go faster.* Which you can imagine has cost my BR a few times in tilt and frustration. *
But now we’re truely here ! Today the contract was signed and delivered and went through some more set up stages. The BPC software is pretty damn slick, a lot of time and money obviously went into that!
So how excited and nervous am I about doing this professionally now…? You can only imagine!!!
But I’m really feeling great about this, I just want to do everyone proud, and prove to myself I can go the whole way to the top.*
This will be a really interesting challenge for me as this will take a long period of consistency in both mental and physical stamina. Usually in the past I have been a 200% or nothing kind of guy, and I think this will be something where I will have to pace myself.*
So today my Neteller account got disabled, I’m waiting to find out what’s going on there, in the mean time I try and get some funds to Skrill asap.*
Worked in the studio this morning and this evening getting a old desk up and running with a lick of paint and a new top, looking forwards to making it as good as possible. The studio space I’m sharing with another guy and I hope I can work there without too much disturbance, time will tell.*
Also worked on getting my google calender drafted out to see how many hours study and play I can get into each day. So will finish of here and get started with some equity calculations, like a starter before the main course

Im the mean time lots to organise so Ill get on with it.

Im terribly worried that I dont achieve my maximum in each day.
I think I need to make sure I start to construct my next days plan the night before, with a short list of the things I would like to achieve tomorrow and the things I need to do.
This way I can stop this helpless feeling when I finish one task and am not sure of the most urgent next task.

Not being paranoid, just like a steam lined action plan.

1. Make plan for next days tasks before sleep.
2. First thing in the morning translate those tasks to your online Google calendar.
3. Crush.

So I updated the calendar a bit to see how much time is available Mon-Friday.

Total hours for the week is a potential 36.25.
I accept that this will change and need to be flexible.
I will try to micro manage my time to give me a sense of security and trust I achieve my goals every day.

So Quick Monday morning update.

Yesterday was my 45th Birthday and my birthday present to myself was joining BPC CFP HU program!

So having your birthday on a Sunday is really the best day to have it. Its so chilled with no one rushing around with things to do and places to go. My family organised the usual breakfast in bed routing with some new socks for Dad and a glass of champagne to get things rocking. Then we went out for the afternoon and checked out ‘The Bridge of Spies’ or as its German name is Der Glienicker Brücke and had a little top up in a cafe afterwards. Was a totally chilled day!

So today is my first day at my new job as a HU Solider for BPC. Isnt that ****ing great !!! Im working on the hellishly frustrating cash in process, my Neteller account is still disabled and Im waiting after sending all the verification documents for it to become live again. Im the mean time I proceed slowly with Skrill and MC where possible. Ugg!

Played some this evening. But felt so lost.
Had a guy sit me for two tables which was some thing new for me and I found it hard to keep up with the action.
Also the guy limped every hand, called all my 3 bets, called all my double barrels when he X the flop.


I played him for a140 hands and I couldn’t find out how to beat him. It was really frustrating as I expected to be able to stack him no problem. But I just couldn’t grab him.
Its on my list for tomorrow to check out his play and see what hands he got to show down with… !

Also I had an interesting villain yesterday that I couldn’t work out wtf he was doing or a way to exploit him.*
This morning I went through his hands that went to showdown.

Yo Its Friday review time.

This was a nice busy week, my first week at my new job. I turned up on time and worked like a mother ****er!

I did 47hrs of combined study, grind and technical to get me up to speed and in the game. Started off with NL10 and NL25 at the beginning of the week to get warmed up and took some NL50 tables on today.

Unfortunately I didnt run so good but who gives a ****?

Yes, loving it, study, the forum is wicked and the feed back on hands posted is like gold. I did apologize in my last hand post for not commenting on others hands, but I still feel like an inexperienced fish, I should grow some balls and get commenting because its a good way to learn obviously, next week im there.

Yes whats left … missed sports twice this week which was a bit slack on the schedule planning but will improve next week. And a special thanks to my darling wife for taking care of everything on the family / household side this week, couldn’t have dome half of this without you baby!

Weekend was busy :-) Work and Organising the space I am sharing/renting.
Back to work now ( By Work or Job I mean CFP BPC ) and have a lot to do in the next few days.

I have to travel to London this week to look after my Dad so there will be some down time here…

Will get on with day now and crunch some tasks etc.
