forgot to mention propbet with housemates.

We're having a decathlon in December, winner takes all, $300 a head entry.

It's not all athletics though. We're still working out the details. We're thinking triathlon disciplines plus poker for 4 events. Then we nominate an event each to take it to seven. the last three are nominated by an independent committee (friends).

So in no particular order;

1. swim (not sure of distance, prob at beach as summer here)
2. cycling (distance?)
3. run (distance?)
4. poker (maybe sng or sng series live)

I should kill the swim and I'd put money on one of the other guys for both the run and cycle. With some training I might push him in the run but he will win the cycle by a landslide. The other guy will not win any of those 3 as he's a fatty. He's the best poker player by quite a margin though nobody plays sng.

Not sure what to pick for my other events. Snooker is a definite from the fatty and he'll clean that up. I could go with anything music related, tennis, soccer, afl.

There is some suggestion of boxing or submission wrestling from the committee which has me a bit nervous. I would imaging something ridiculous will also be thrown in and will involve alcohol. There will be talk of it on the weekend so hopefully start lokcing in some events so the training can commence.

Volume was awful. I played pretty poorly during 4 key sessions, mainly at nl100.
I'm going for 50k hands this month, tired of making excuses. Going to make sure I get solid volume in at a mixture of nl50 and 100. Hope to run well and move up to 100 for good.

Anyone got any tips for a decent series at similar stakes. Preferably 6max nl100 or 200? Maybe nl50 if it's particularly good.
