I like most on here I'm sure love poker and I have for a long time. When it comes to natural talent for poker I'm not it, but I love the game! In the beginning it was the idea of making money to play a "game" and my competitive drive to win that drew me in.

When I started, I think the adrenaline of winning a big pot, running deep in a tourney or getting a big bluff through was as much of a attraction as winning money was. I never really took it serious though. Probably for alot of reason, but I know two for sure.

First off I like to gamble and poker is a slow grind especially playing tourney poker. So I would have success but then always blow my winnings gambling and then be turned off from all everything including poker and usually stay away for a while, so I could never really see the results from poker

Secondly, I was just a bad player. I would get nervous in almost all spots because I never studied or knew what was probably the "right" play to make so I would just panic and make irrational decisions...

I've been persistent and over time I have watched a lot of content, including free studying. Through that and lots of hours playing. I have developed into a strong player for the stakes I'm at.

Here is a graph of my results over the past few months since starting to take poker more serious, and not do any other gambling. I only play on global currently, but have had success in the recent past on ignition so will add funds there as well soon to play some of the higher gtd tourneys they offer.

I have one goal with poker and that is to make enough to pay a down payment on a house. I'm not sure if that's going to being just continuing to grind mostly $5-10 tourneys or if I will progress to higher stakes during this journey. Come along!

FYI- if you make enough for a down payment, the bank will want to know where the money came from to verify there will be more in the future.

they will not want to see your poker graphs.

trust me. its an akwerd convo.

full cash payment if you wanna live in a house of cards :P
