Thx! unable to follow your advice tho, or mebbe i did and cruel fate was against me. Below a grand sigh. Down $120 after running bad and imo small tilt related mistakes. mostly alot of top pairvs set situations, kk vs aa, all that good stuff
havent moved up as of yet... reasons are two fold... came up from 5 cent buyin level via 10 man 10 min interval sngs... got 40 bi (440) coupla months ago for $10 game... and the format i play isnt popular enuff and they only run a handful of times a day. Action above 5 sitngo level there isnt much.. and most of what there is of it is 6 handed 4 min blinds. So ive been playing this format at $5, which i understand l'm overrolled for currently at about $950. Didnt have the confidence to move up level and change format at the same time. How horrible of a mistake is it to linger awhile by the fertile pond of the $2 everest rebuy i wonder? Trying to further build my confidence and br? Kind of decided to hang around playing turbo 6 handed 18 man sng to mebbe better adjust to turbo blinds and take a crack at the sng low leaderboard (near miss on prize money last week, 13th 10th pays) which would boost confidence and br.
No software yet. tried playin 4 tables 6 handed (was headsup on one) and was instantly of the opinion that i was playing way worse that usual. Ominous. Mebbe ill try to play 3 tables at once. have done from time to time and dont seem to suffer much from it.
I realize that its probably a mistake not to move up as soon as possible. However there is the format / game availability issues as well as psychological issues. If i stress less from -24 buyin downswings maybe it saves me from going broke? I first qualified for $5 level ($220) a year ago: so less a 3 month break from playing everest it took me 9 months to beat that level. not even sure i got enuff buyins outta $5 10 mans, was mebbe $2 rebuy money that finally got me to rolled for $10. would really appreciate any help on ways to access and analyze everest play data.
I'm eager for your opinions and helpful suggestion.
Joe
