Thanks Well I've been interested in HU pretty much since the beginning of my journey but didn't have the roll to try it out. From the start, the goal in the back of my mind has been to one day become a HU reg. Made the switch to HU march 28 but studied HU since the beginning of march. Made the switch when I had more than 100 bi for 20nl hu. Wanted to be able to be a donk for a while without losing too big % of br. But started out on a huge heater

ty. I'm not sure I know what you mean:P? Do you mean if I could ever fold J6? or if I would've gotten away from villains hand?

Think I'm pretty much never getting away from this hand HU. And against a fish like this I'd probably get it in superdeep too and just a bit the times when he turns up with JJ or 77. The way this hand played villain should turn up with JJ or 77 almost 0% of the times tho.

Oh, found out about this thread just now!
I'm surprised you asked about finding out your true winrate and saying that your graph is swingy, you seem to be crushing it. When do you plan to move up? After 10k hands?

Haha thanks Yeah pretty much a donkey question :P it's just that the graph looks so much more swingy over small samples than what I'm used to at 6max since you're getting all in more often.
If I keep running well I think I'll start adding $50 tables but staying away from euro and pund tables after I've got 10k hands at nl20. Not sure tho I might grind nl20 april out and start off may trying to move up

BTW Sweet with a HU baller ITT

Glad I have rakeback. This far my rake back is giving me 11.5bb/100. Crazy they are raking so much. Even if I was breaking even the rakeback alone would be much to win.
I hope the rake is better at 50nl

Edit: Looked thru my HEM and from what I can tell the rake cap is $1 at both 20nl and 50nl. So a 2bb cap vs a 5bb cap should to quite the difference

Rough morning. Down $117. Ran pretty horrible. Hit backdoor flush against bigger backdoor flush for a 370bb pot, got QQ vs AA and got ai otf twice with nut FD and missed. Think getting it in OTF on a draw might be a mistake against this villain tho so will keep that in mind til next time.
Also played bad in some spots bluffing when I shouldn't be etc so can't blame it all on bad luck obv.
Managed to figure out some spots where I could exploit villain so happy about that atleas

Edit: this was on euro tables. Soo all in all I'm only down 4bi for the day in 536 hands which obv isn't much to complain about. Just a rough way to start out the day

Def not my day. Got sat by an absolutely mental villain at a pound table. Got it in with QQ vs AT and he hit A otr. Now he's sitting out. If he leaves I'm gonna quit playing for a while

Edit: Yer he quit. gg

This is the last day I'm home allone and don't have to work so todays minichallenge will be

[ ] Play 2k hands
[ ] get back to even for the day post rakeback
[ ] 60$ in rakeback
[ ] Skate, workout, clean the apartment and just generally not lose myself to much in poker even tho I'm gonna grind alot
[ ] don't play bad no matter how I run

Obv I won't be upset if I don't get back to even and I know this is impossible to fully controll. Just a fun minichallenge for today to have something to work for

I know Everyone I've played last 500 hands today has either quit after doubling up or after busting. Can't do anything about it but so annoying when you have some hands against a fish and has just figured out how to play him and he leaves

I gotta get better at calculating pot odds. I always have trouble when things like this happens. I thought I'd might have roughly 30% equity. Then I look to se how much I've gotta call and how much I'm gonna win if I hit, then my head starts hurting and I just call.

Have played 1k hands today. Really happy with my volume this far Also feel okay with how I'm playing even tho present-Garlig doesn't agree 100% with some of past-Garlics logic. Gonna take an other break now and go skateboarding/watch some arrested development and get back to grinding later

Btw feels kinda lol to read first pages of this thread and see how happy I was with doubling my br now that I have swings as big as that br in one day

Hope I some day lol at that statement too
