opponent is a dead fish 43/15
the question is about river only (previous streets I called since it seemed +EV)
so, should I have just checked? Sometimes he bluffs river, but I saw him making hero-calls a few times also. Although not against me. He almost never called my river bets and never bluffed against me, like trying not to mess. so, what is the best line here? Maybe a smaller bet? I think I should have checked

Dunno if there is merit in inducing. I would bet ~10 atleast, to ship (almost) any river. No need to give villains cheap cards to outdraw us

Well I dont know about nl50 but atleast in micros they call anything you throw at them. You are missing a ton of value here! How can you know if he would have folded or not?
