Ok so yesterday wasn't a good day for me. Ran 45 buy-ins under EV (it's okay, still running good by a lot!), but also played poorly at times. I admit I was steaming for a while. I think I play better when I don't check my HEM until after the session. I was obsessed with refreshing it yesterday, and I started focusing more on some stupid lines than on what got me to this point. I've done such a good job at focusing throughout this challenge, and I have to remember that I've been running good. I won't do myself any favors by playing crappy. Every game counts.
So, to take a break from HU hypers, I dabbled a bit in the 6-max hypers. I really focused and ran goot so far.
Today is day 36. At about +$53k from the tables after 12,100 games or so. 5900 games over 3 weeks will be easy! Hopefully I get this wrapped up early.
This has been a really cool thread and you've inspired met to take a shot at HUSNG's myself, wich has been going pretty well so far. Since you inspired me I was wondering how you've been doing during the 2p2 downtime. Any updates?
Congratulations on the long hours man, I know it is probably the hardest aspect when it comes to put in the sick volume...
One question btw... Whats your background? before you suddenly decided to play the 60's HU Hypers? Did you got highly intensive coaching, did you study a lot, both? or you are just some sick prodigy? :P
posting in epic thread what can i say man its amazing to see your dedication really puts things in perspective!
can you give an idea of your routine how long are your breaks how many games do you play in a session etc do you have a lot of caffeine or sugar that helps you concentrate.
i find that after playing a certain amount i just loose focus. have you always been such a sick grinder or is it something that you built up over the years?
