I have been playing poker for about seven years now and it has had its ups and downs. I have come a long way since my start thanks to this site and training sites. My biggest problem over the years has not been my dedication to learning the game, but it has been the burnout out that came along with it. I have rarely played in the past year and I have decided to take my time and to take a healthier approach to the game.

The purpose of this thread is for me to track my progress by setting small goals and pacing myself, as well as focusing on a more balanced lifestyle.

My first goal is to just start small to build up some confidence. I will only play SNG's under $12 until I have reached $2500. Rakeback is included in this challenge. It should take around 45 days to complete.

Thanks for the support. I have set aside $500 for the challenge. I am going to be playing mainly heads up super turbos on FT but I might play other SNGs also. I play two at a time and I will most likely play 200-240 per day. This is about five to six hours of play at a rate of forty per hour.

sts have a lot of variance. you better watch it cause you could down swing 20+ easily.

I got a late start today so I didn't play as many as I would have liked to. So far every SNG has been a $5.15 buy-in. I am well aware of the variance and I know I have started out running hot. On average I should make about 30 to 35 cents per SNG including rakeback.
