6/6/15 Update

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two playing days without looking the results completed. The feeling was very nice, and I think that I played my A game longer. A played a lot because of Zoom accumulator challenge. I played mostly zoom nl10 6max, some hands nl16 and nl5 zoom to test the player pool. I did also one nl5 regular tables session because a friend was playing and I wanted to see how he was playing so I joined his tables. Also I tried 9max zoom nl5+nl10 with no success. I lost 35$ in total, but I'm totaly satisfied with my play and this challenge. The last session at nl16 messed the things up because I lost 4 BIs with some KK vs AA one set overset and some lost coinflips. So I feel ok, and I will probably try this challenge again soon.

Waaay behind. That's my bigest pot loss. It was at the start of the day and I believe that affected my mood the rest of the day. I think I played it bad and I have to raise the flop. But I'm not sure. My idea on the flop was to let the mp chase his draw and let sb to bet again on the turn. Of course I didn't expected T8s at his mp opening range. Maybe it's good because we are deep stacked. I don't know. I put sb mostly on overpairs because of the squeeze preflop. He was a fair reg and I didn'y expected to see 99.

    Yea I like raising on the flip. Flirting seems a bit ambitious when it's three way to the turn on a board with straight and flush draws that all fall under both vill's ranges

    I like flatting 22 deep in position 3-way, we have excellent implied odds.

    I like raising the flop as there's a ton of draws out there to protect against and we get value from a lot of a hands that are still in both players ranges. Wouldn't discount JJ or 99 at this point but both players' continuing ranges are wider than that.

    As played doubt I can find a fold anywhere in the hand, it's just a bit of a gross cooler.

    The only implied odds we have, is against the preflop raiser range, which is considerably weaker than the 3bettor's range,and pure set mining isn't really profitable against weak ranges.
    BTW I was talking about folding to the original raise, when there's the 3bet and the call, I think It's close between calling and folding.

    And a 3bet with 99 SB vs MP IMO is pretty std

    Hey mate, good luck at your goals. I use a kind of super safe BRM at this moment. I have a link at the end of my posts about my BRM strategy right now. You can check it. I have played 2M hands life time. I used to be a heavy grinder and most hands are from nl2 and nl5.

    I checked out the link, and here are my 2 cents mate.

    I noticed that the higher you go the less conservative your bankroll becomes. Is there a reason for this?

    nl25 --> 60 BIs
    nl50 --> 50 BIs
    nl100 --> 40 BIs

    Dude, unless you have a very solid reason for this BRM, I'd say just move up already, and get more conservative nl50+.

    And another thing I noticed is that youre just giving yourself a 4 BI shot for the next limit. With the kind of padding you have you can easily afford 8 to 10 Bis shot.

    good luck mate!

    Yeah it’s a kind of strange strategy but there’s a logical explanation to this (I think).

    The reason I use this strategy from the beginning of my challenge, is because my biggest part of my profits was from nl2 and nl5. I was losing at nl10 in a big sample and I was break even with rakeback. So, even if my bankroll was for nl25 I didn’t want to move up without the confidence that I can beat the previous stake. That’s why my BRM seems a little strange. It’s mostly for psychological reasons. Also I want to feel safe when I’m playing because I don’t have a standard job or a standard income.

    About shots, I’m thinking to do it with 8-10BI shots. Some friends also suggest this to me. I will think of it for sure in the near future. Nl25 is close. Good luck to you too!
